What I wish God knows
I can still remember that night, when we're talking at the backseat of a cab, heading to the airport catching my flight.
"Who do you want to marry?" You asked me. I got caught off guard by your question.
Then I looked at you and saw your eyes, staring at me, looking for the answers through my blank stares.
You looked outside the window. "God knows." I heard you said with tone of disappointment from your voice.
I squeezed your hand tightly, my lips formed a smirk while looking past the driver's shoulder into the road.
How I wish God know that it's YOU all along.
