So before I start this, the first thing I want to say is sorry to all the people I owe replies to. I know there is like four of you, and I’m super sorry. But on to the rest, lately I just have not had any Albus, or Potter muse for that matter, I’m going to take a break, and maybe open a new blog for another fandom, currently though, you can contact me, if you want over here: @thepeanutgallery, I’ll still be around but I’m not going to do any more replies, so I want to once gain apologize, so until sometime in the new year, I think this blog is just not really going to be active. What kind of Grindeldore AUs do you prefer: something with the same characters in a completely different setting/story, or something where they're still in the HP universe, but one significant thing is different?

I’m not super picky, mainly because I know that both a completely different AU could be awesome, but something like Albus and Gellert having gone ahead with their plans could be neat as well. I think if you are going for something AU, have fun with it, go for something you think would be amusing, it’s always fun to see what other people think of.

Hi, It’s probably easier to message me here, this is where I will be most of the time. As for prompts, maybe something AU? Although something set in their timeline could be cool, just preferably nothing to angsty. As for triggers I can’t think of any, except for insects, but I can’t imagine that to be an issue. Other than that I can’t think of anything, and feel free to message me if you need anything else. Happy holidays!

His smile drooped, becoming more of a frown. “It was…” He trailed off, “It was both wonderful and awful, he seemed so sure of himself, and the idea that one of us could die was terrifying.” he spoke, as though he were a thousand miles away. He paused, letting his thoughts form into sentences. “I honestly don’t know how I feel to be honest, it’s easy to pretend for The Prophet, and the people, but I don’t know how I actually feel.” he finally answered, glad that Godryce was willing to listen. He stopped talking letting his own words sink in, trying to think of his opinion on the whole matter. He wasn’t entirely sure, he knew it was a hard fight, and that Gellert was still alive, although he had no idea of his own emotions over it.

        “Drained,” Godryce suddenly spoke up, “drained is the word you’re looking for, Albus. I remember the feeling for the first time when Godric tested me against a Chimera. I felt faint, but that passed. What lasted longer was the feeling of…” she shrugged, “it wasn’t nothing, it was just…” she shrugged again, to indicate that the shrug was the feeling. “Regardless,” she sighed, letting her eyes slip shut, “I’m happy you’re alright, if nothing else.” She stood up, going to the teapot nearby, “Tea?” she looked over at him.

“Yes, tea would be wonderful.” he replied, breathing out a sigh of relief. Sometimes he could forget,  that Godryce wasn’t fully human, with her understanding of emotions. “Thank you, I think I needed someone I could talk to.” He doesn’t add the word honestly, but he thinks she gets it anyways.

Dominique shook her head, taking the mug in her hand and wrapping both hands around it. “Nope, to my grandmothers. We have a massive family christmas. What about you?”

Albus shook his head. “No, my brother is, but I elected to stay here. It’s nice during the holidays, and the castle is beautiful with the snow, besides my home town is incredibly quiet and I can’t imagine wanting to spend several weeks with my brother as my only company. So will you be staying at your grandmothers the entire break?”
