Our very good buddy Sam Spina recently began working for Cartoon Network’s Regular Show.  His first episode (Season 7 Episode 1- Dumptown, USA)  just aired and lo and behold he’s already dropping subliminal shoutouts!  Sam, you are seriously the best!

We are so excited for the No Way Jose! reunion show tomorrow night at New Brookland Tavern!  PWIZ will be kicking things off right at doors with his first DJ set of the night.  Punk as fuck Fk. Mt. will take the stage next followed by the manic backwoods folklore legend Andy the Doorbum.  No Way Jose! will then see how many songs of their’s they can remember, after which PWIZ will close the night out with another DJ set.

The first record Fork & Spoon officially released as a label was by No Way Jose!- a band Aaron, Chris, and Jordan formed with their good friend Thomas Gilbert.  The release was a commemorative effort as the group had become inactive before the launch of Fork & Spoon as a record label.  As part of our continued celebration for entering our 5th year of existence, we are ooooh so excited to announce that No Way Jose! will be reuniting for a show at the New Brookland Tavern in Columbia, SC on Friday June 12th 2015!
More details in the coming weeks about what other magical things that night will hold... Â In the meantime, feel free to familiarize yourself with the NWJ! catalogue as we would love to hear as many of you singing along as possible!

Almost a year ago Can’t Kids played as the house band for the Spork In Hand Puppet Slam at Indie Grits and collaborated with Lyon Hill and Kimi Maeda to create this scrolling, shadowy puppet “video.” Our good friend Katherine McCollough has gone and directed it into an amazing video interweaving both the audience and performer’s view.
