As an Air Nomad, Tagah should have been more patient. More willing to ignore the young woman and just go back to what he was doing. But sadly, he wasn't all the good with the dogmas just yet. With a swift move, the used his airbending to knock Akali off her feet and was quick to hold her down, leaning close to whisper in her year. — You have no idea.... And without another word, he let her go and went back to his meditation spot.

— There are few things that beat the feeling of just.... free falling. For a little moment it's just you and the clouds, absolutely free with nothing to hold you back.

“I don’t think it makes you an idiot,” Aang muses. “We all lose track of things sometimes. Don’t worry, we’ve got plenty of time to… f i n d  i t.” His voice trailed off as his attention was drawn to the blur of white and brown skittering across the ceiling support beams, a flash of something yellow grasped in a tiny paw.

“Momo, wait ! That’s not your hair tie—you don’t even have hair !”

Perhaps, but how many people lost track of their own routines? Tiing up his hair was a morning ritual at this point and yet here he was, still feeling like a fool. His gaze went along with Aang's when Momo came into view holding what was clearly Tagah's hair tie.

There were some things he missed about Air Nomads, but the mischief the lemours had was not one of them. And off Tagah went, after the creature.

— C'mon Momo, give it back please.

"With your age, it could be anything, grandpa."

— Ah yes, I remember now. I forgot to teach you some good manners.

“Huh,” his brow furrowed in thought, “Maybe you’ll remember while you finish getting ready. Unless you’re wearing your hair down today. You know, I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen you wearing it down. It’s longer than it looks when you braid it.”

— My.... hair? — Came the question as Tagah's hand quickly went to his head. So THAT was it. While most Air Nomads shaved their hair completely, he could never comit to it fully but it made sense now why he had felt he was missing something. — That's what I forgot.... Now I feel like an idiot.

“Yeah,” he chuckles. It’s one of those he’s so smart he’s kind of cooky things.” Aang shrugs, returning his focus to Tagah’s problem. “Does it feel like a big something you're missing or a small something?”

— Definitely small, on the scope of 'I can go the whole day without it' but it still bothers me. It's on the tip of the tongue.

“Is it... your pants? That happens to Sokka more times than he’d be comfortable with me telling you.”

— No no.... I have mine on.... I really can't seem to remember..... Wait Sokka forgets to wear pants?

— I feel like I'm forgetting something....

like the betrayal’s always going to be worse if they cared about you and it didn’t matter. someone discards you because they didn’t give a shit, then you can be angry about that, you can feel vindicated in that, you can get over it. but if they can look you in the eyes and say “I love you. I would make the same choice again.” You will never sleep peacefully again, is all.

“I thought they cared about me, but they were lying this whole time.” <- tired. boring. removes all the nuance of this relationship to make it easier to move on from.

Hello I'm Jo and this is the little session for the rules!

0.1 This is a roleplay blog for Tagah from Avatar Legends. Since he is from the movie The Legend of Aang, this blog is obviously not spoiler free.

0.2 No godmoding will be allowed, the same goes for powerplay. If there is need for godmoding during a thread, please ask for my permission, discuss about it with me please, so both sides can agree and no one is left unhappy about the plot.

0.3 Please don’t assume prestablished relationship with my muse without talking to me, the mun, first. Of course that it doesn’t apply much to canon characters that have interacted any of the characters displayed here. Even in these cases, it’s important to contact me about it because we might have different views of how they would interact with each other and it’s always good to have these things clear.

0.4 DON’T RUSH ME OVER REPLIES. Understand that I’m busy and this isn’t my only blog. I roleplay for fun and relieve stress. Sometimes I need to take breaks or drop threads and I deep apologize for that.

0.5 Don’t assume your character knows anything about my muse unless you have discussed it with me first or my muse has told yours something about them.

0.6 This blog is PRIVATE. Which means I'm picky with who I roleplay with and will write only with mutuals. Sadly ADHD brain is a thing so I might be picky with threads and replies!

0.7 I ask to others not to reblog my threads and/or headcanons. Of course that if you are the person I’m roleplaying with that doesn’t apply, but if you are a personal blog or even another roleplay blog that isn’t the one I’m interacting with, DON’T REBLOG THEM.

0.8 I’m OC friendly. However, that doesn’t mean I will roleplay with every OC that follows me. I’ll take a look on the blog, read the about, headcanons etc, (note: if I can’t find the about or any basic information about your muse, no I won’t roleplay with you) and if I don’t feel like there is a way we can interact, I won’t follow. Of course that muns are always welcome to message me in private if they have any ideas for plots that could happen, I’m always open to that.

0.9 I’m open when it comes to crossovers between fandoms.

1.0 I don’t have english as first language, so I ask that people keep the grammar as accurate as possible to help me understand what you are writing, of course that I understand if english is also not your first language.

1.1 I write in the style I grew up with, being Brazilian Portuguese, using — instead of "", with speech being colored. If that format is hard for you do read for some reason (I was told can be bad for those with dyslexia), you can reach out to me and ask to write differently for our threads.

1.2 I also ask you use pontuation I won’t roleplay with people that write something like: smirks Hi (this is more out of personal preference and exceptions can be open for crack threads between mutuals)

1.3 I don’t do ’submit your reply’ kind of thread. If you use the submit to send me your reply over and over again I’ll delete over and over again. Have in mind that this annoys me very much, so please don’t do it.

1.4 SHIPPING I’m multiship! That means that each ship developed here exists in it’s own universe and they don’t clash. Ever. But that doesn’t mean I’ll always roleplay with two of the same muse. I also ship chemestry, so unless A) Our muses relationship is well developed or B) Me and the mun actually talk a lot about that.

1.5 NSFW content will be put under a ‘Read More’. A reminder that it doesn’t always means smut, but also subjects such as torture, self harm, and etc.

1.6 While I know it's not possible to match the length of a reply every single time, I do expect to at least get more than a couple lines response if I make the effort of writing more than three paragraphs. If you do that.... chances are I will lose interest in replying to that thread and/or other threads between us really fast and might even drop them without notice.

1.7 Following, unfollowing, soft block and blocking: I usually follow people I want to interact with, but that also means I may unfollow without notice. If I don't wish to interact anymore chances are I'll soft block without saying anything, mostly because I'm too anxious to do so. If you make me unconfortable in any way, it's a hard block.

Tagah was not born into the Air Nomads, being brought into the culture by a chance encounter with Avatar Sonem during their early 20's. He did adopt a lot of their habits and mentalities, identifying with the philosophy of their culture. He quickly rose as an acolyte, becoming the Avatar's traveling companion. Depending of interactions, he might have become her love interest as well.

Despite his fate, becoming corrupted by his own grief and anger, he does respect life overall, willing to avoid fighting if necessary. Rising to be a master Air Bender in times of war, however, he did accept the fact that sometimes fighting would be necessary and, during the war, that vision was distorted to where he sees violence as the viable course of action to get to his goal.

Some of the things he doesn't share with Aang is being vegetarian. Tagah is a pescatarian, but it's willing to eat meat from time to time as long as the animal wasn't killed for the sole purpose of feeding him and it didn't suffer. Another, more obvious, is the fact that he kept some of his hair instead of shaving his head completely. When he received his Air Bending, his attunement with the element was so strong he decided to have his iconic hairdo after the ceremony.
