there's something so special to me about nico saying these past two years on haas have been the most fun he's ever had in f1. and kevin saying it feels like his family. while both saying the team seems to be on a significant upward trajectory for the first time ever ! maybe, even if they're leaving. and the team giving them both whole hearted thank yous at the end of their season and treating them right while they were there. and the two people replacing them on haas this coming year are- a guy who got effectively thrown out by his team of 5 years a week before the last race without even a proper goodbye, and a kid coming straight out of the position of an overworked intern and the ferrari doom factory.

i wanted yuki in the seat too but there’s no reason to send hate to liam. choosing drivers is based on way more than current performace and we have no clue what goes on behind the scenes at RB, especially money and contract wise. yuki has proven himself time and time again and i am heartbroken for him, but i also can’t wait to see what liam does with this opportunity!

christian horner and helmut marko DO NOT want anyone that can genuinely compete with max in the seat, hence why they didn’t sign carlos. maybe they see yuki as potential competition for max/ they didn’t think the pairing would work out. their goal is to appease max and the higher ups at RB and keep winning championships.

again, stop saying rude shit to liam. its not his fault he got chosen and it makes no sense to direct your anger towards him. i hate when people online constantly berate the drivers like they don’t have feelings and lives of their own. lets all calm down pls, im already tired from fighting off the ln4 haters.

I just can't help but bring up this insane article f1 posted this morning on why they chose liam

First off, rip Danny Ric. But listen, everybody knows that yuki has been probably the most successful driver for redbull besides max in the last two years. He's really matured into a consistent, reliable racer. But not only does the article list that it also goes on to list a bunch of other reasons that I THINK should have made yuki a shoo in for the slot.

He's out performed every teammate to date (besides his rookie year where it was pretty close) and he's been there in understanding he'll be in the running for a Red Bull seat eventually. AND THEN THEY GO AND BRING UP WHY HE DIDNT'T GET IT

And why Liam did get it....

Which sounds really oddly like how Yuki was described in his early years especially, that he was looked down on for and really oddly like how he was described 1 paragraph, right before before they said it wasn't enough. And then there's this set of paragraphs here that make me truly evil

This is who would win in an all out fist fight (use whatever reasoning you want) but as the drivers are RIGHT NOW. All of the pairings are COMPLETELY RANDOMIZED. I know some of them are quite unfortunate but I kept them in the spirit of this chaotic bracket. This will also be the fastest bracket of my life so l can report the results at Christmas dinner <3. Since a full bracket is more than 20 people I've included this years full grid as well as next years grid and some returning legends. Please tag your reasoning if you want.

I don't honestly think that there is anything more iconic than zhou and valtteri getting dumped in a bad team with a terrible car and abandoned and then proceeding to mind their own business to the highest level, only answer with each other when interviewers ask questions about their favorite driver friend on the grid or somebody who could be on their team in an escape room, and then do whatever they want in closing after they didn't get signed again by absolutely bashing everybody they felt like bashing and doing donuts at their last race while everybody was focused on lewis switching teams
