This is an 1xPlayer AU ask and art blog for my version of this AU.

This blog has roleplay elements, as you are able to ask specific characters questions, not just me (the mod)!

You are allowed to share about your own version of the AU, share your designs of your AU, ask questions about my AU, etc etc. 

If you send a design for your AU, there’s always a chance I’ll draw it!

I made sprites of my 1xPlayer at different demos, if you're sending in a roleplay ask, specify the timeline! The answers may change at different timeframes of their journey..

Asks relating to prologue and pre prologue will be answered faster than later demos as all the sprites for that timeframe are fully done, it may take me a short while to alter them for the chosen timeframe, but not too long!

In this blog, the main character you will be able to talk to is 1xPlayer, but you are able to ask other characters in my AU questions as well.

1xPlayer is genderfluid, and uses any pronouns.

If I don’t respond to an ask within two days, Tumblr may have eaten it— try resending. If that one never gets a response, then I have chosen not to answer it— I will not do this often.

I AM working on a fanfiction for this AU, but it is in the works. I will make a post when it’s out— you may ask for updates on it.

[ His first thought upon seeing him is Builderman... or really, a fake. ]

[ He decides to watch. Watch from afar, just in case it he tries to harm him or he accidentally harms him just like a couple of people he's come across. Back where he's from, Builderman, along with Shedletsky, were one of his father figures, until he went on his third adventure where he encountered the fake. His trauma only got worse when he was brought here after his fourth adventure. ]

Builderman was organizing a shelf near a few office cubicles. Without even meeting the traveler’s gaze, he asks:

“Are ya’ jus’ gonna sit there or do ya’ need anythin’?”

[ Builderman’s words make him flinch, but he doesn’t react much. What was he here for in the first place? Just watching? ]

”Checking up on you…? You are. Uh. The real Builderman, right?”

[ He wonders if Builderman simply did not recognize him. ]

“… Yeah? I’d be surprised if I wasn’t. Why d’ ya’ ask?”

For some reason, hearing his voice stirred a little familiarity. Builderman stops what he’s doing and turns to look at the traveler, in case he knew who he was.

… Nope. But why is he so familiar?

"Ah. Nothing. It's alright."

[ Player is acting weird. He looks a little disappointed that Builderman does not recognize him yet, but he knows that it's for. the. greater. good. Should he tell Builderman who he is? Maybe later. ]

"Is Shedletsky around here?"

Builderman nods. He was strangely focused on the traveler, to try and find things that he recognized about him.

“Shedletsky? Oh, ya’ mean Telamon? He ain’t here. I reckon he’s up in th’ Heights.”

[ Player had a rubber ball and a sword, as well as a few food items and cards in his backpack. ]

"I see."

[ He doesn't show it, but again, one could sense his disappointment even if he didn't know. He takes a deep sigh. ]

"I am Player. Does that name ring. any bells?"

”Hm? Oh… No, I don’… think so?”

Builderman was once again confused. Player, as the traveler called themself, had implied that he knew who he was with his words, but they had never met. But the question still stood: why was he so familiar?

Builder noticed how Player was upset. So he decided to switch his attention to what he does best— helping others.

“Nevermind that... Somethin’ wrong, kiddo?”

"No, no! I am fine!"

[ He waves his hands, dismissing it. Something is clearly wrong, but he's not elaborating on it. He internally sighs, contemplating whether or not to genuinely tell Builderman. ]

"Do you know about Shed- I mean... Telamon's swords?"

”Ya’ sure? Hm.”

His train of thought was going in too many directions. Does he press on? Stay within boundaries? Try to find anything he recognizes about him?

Builder snaps back to reality at Player’s question.

“O-oh, ya’ mean the Seven SFOTH Swords? Yep… I… know about ‘em…”

He zones out, reminded of the past… When Telamon showed no mercy…

"Yes, yes! Those!"

[ He nods hurriedly. He notices Builderman's uncertainty but doesn't comment on it.. ]

"Do you know what happens to those who wield the swords? Or at least... tries to?"

Builderman stiffens, surprised by Player’s eagerness. The whole situation is getting a little overwhelming and complicated, so obviously Builderman is getting suspicious.

“Well, u-uh, I admit I don’ exactly know. Swordfightin’s never been my style.”

“One thing I do know, though, is that the wielder becomes more… aggressive. ‘Specially if it’s a normal person… but, why d’ ya’ ask?”

It is clear that Builder is losing trust in him.

[ He can tell. And he wish he didn't. He should have just stayed away, like it told him to, damn it! Should he even go on? If he didn't, that would make him suspicious, if he did, that would make him suspicious. He didn't really have a choice. ]

"At a point, I've had four of them..."

Builder’s expression grew hostile. That cannot be possible. Unless this “Player” was some sort of exploiter, or maybe somehow had something to do with Telamon. But the latter is impossible, right? Why does he keep talking about Telamon?

”Interesting.”

“They have caused much suffering, to others and me.”

[ His voice is almost shaky, but he doesn’t seem anxious or anything… If he keeps explaining, he’ll be less suspicious… right? WRONG! ]

“The swords have took something from me and I want it back, and I am. wondering if you have a solution.”

Builderman already knew about how the swords caused great pain and misery, from the tales of wanderers who found their way into Telamon’s realm.

A solution? Had the Player lost to Telamon and he punished him for his… disobedience? Why would Builder help an exploiter? And why was he still so familiar?

Player could feel themselves get pulled forward to him by an unknown force. Builder’s arms were crossed.

“Tell me, who are you really?”

"Player! Shedletsky, since he was injured, tasked me with collecting the swords and saving you from the mysterious perpetrator of your kidnapping!"

[ Player should feel fear here, anxiety. He doesn't, unfortunately. ]

[ Builderman is angry at him. He feels his hateful glare on him and he can barely look back at him. ]

[ If Player had been punished, shouldn't Telamon have told Builderman about this sometime ago? Then again, it was quite common for Telamon to bring harm upon someone... ]
