(Y/N) wiped her eyes as she reluctantly walked into work, she didn’t want to be here. All she wanted to do was lay in bed and watch old westerns, cry and eat ice cream. Her boyfriend of two years had broken up with her, he had cheated on her with some blonde with fake boobs.
She was so upset when she found out she wanted to kill him, they had talked about a future and a family. But that was all gone, all that was left was a broken heart and an empty apartment. (Y/N) got clocked in and wanted to cry even harder when she was the only waitress on stall for the evening. She got her apron on and started her late night shift.
(Y/N) had a few big tables but nothing too bad. It was now around eleven, they closed at midnight. (Y/N) sat at a booth and looked through her wallet, it still had pictures of them together. She took a breath and threw them in the trash. She heard the door open and got prepared to seat the costumer.
“Welcome to the red barn, you can sit anywhere you want.” She heard the person go sit down and she took a breath and followed them and placed the menu on the table “what can I get started for you- oh. My. God.” She looked at the man wide eyed “Y-your Conway Twitty.” He smiled and nodded “Yes Darlin’ I am, I take it your a fan.”
(Y/N) nodded and shook her head “I’m sorry you’re probably tired of people staring at you. What can I get you to drink?” He smiled “coffee, and I don’t mind a beautiful woman like yourself looking at me.” (Y/N) blushed and went to get his coffee, she came back and gave him the cup “anything else sir?”
Conway looked at her “I couldn’t help but notice when I walked in you looked like you were crying, what happened honey?” (Y/N) cursed herself and rubbed her hands together, “oh uh nothing really……my boyfriend broke cheated on me. And I uh I really didn’t want to come into work today.”
Conway frowned and held her hand “oh sweetheart that’s not nothing. You poor thing, what happened. Don’t worry about getting me food, I just wanted coffee. Sit down and tell me what happened?” He listened to her and gave her a napkin to wipe her tears with “im sorry darlin, he sounds like a real piece of work.”
After a while the cooks went home and it was just Conway and (Y/N), he got up and put in some money and punched in a number on the jukebox. “Come here darlin.” He held out his hand as a slow country song played, he took her hand and started to dance around the room with her. After the song was over he leaned forward and sang

I’m performing tomorrow night, here is a ticket and a backstage pass…….come on back tomorrow night and I’ll show you how a real man should treat a woman.”

Doc's health had gone downhill after your twin's third birthday, he was coughing more and wasn't able to play with the twins. You had Virgil take the twins for the week so you could take care of Doc, by the end of the week he was barely conscious and had stopped eating. You were sitting on the bed with his head in her lap, and you were running your hands through his hair. "My loving man, how are you feeling?" He was looking up at you and was struggling to breathe, he had his hand on your large stomach. You were with a child and you prayed Doc survived to meet your little one. "Im floating on air my dear." He smiled softly "I am so lucky to spend my last hours with you, my love."
You rubbed his face "Don't say that my love, y-you can beat this." He held your hand and kissed it "Darlin' the doctor said I don't have long. I can feel it, my body feels light." You asked the doctor to get Wyatt and the twins, and you helped Doc sit up and get covered up. He was so cold. "Ok my handsome man, your babies are coming to see you." He smiled as he saw the twins who tried to get out of Wyatt's arms "Daddy!" They got on the bed and hugged Doc, you stood up and watched them. You felt Wyatt's arm on your side and looked at Doc
"Your babies missed you Doc." He held them and smiled "I will miss them." You turned around and felt Wyatt have her as she cried, he bent his head down and kissed your head "Sweet girl, if you need to step out." You shook your head "Im not leaving him." You sit down on the bed and snuggled with your husband while he holds the twins. You rub his chest as he struggles to breathe, you kiss his sweaty cheek and he looks at you and starts to cough. You see blood start to drip down his lip "Wyatt, please take the twins out." You calmly got up and helped Wyatt get the twins into another room, you walked back into the room and sat down
Doc coughed and looked at you, for the first time you saw fear in his eyes "John, do you need anything?" He held out his hand and you sat down and felt him lay his head in your lap and look up at you "I-I......just......want......to......see......you." You rub your fingers through his hair and look at him, "I love you, my handsome man." Doc smiled at you and coughed "I....love....you....too.....my.....love." You sit and hold doc for hours, just watching him and running your fingers through his hair
Doc looked at you and rubbed your stomach kissing it every so often "I.....love....you....little....one." He looked at you "Tell....them....about....me." You held him and rubbed his head "My loving man. You're going to be able to tell them yourself." He looked at you and raised his hand up to rub your cheek "I.....love.....you....my......love" His eyes dimmed and his breathing labored, his hand dropped from your face and his face went still. You rubbed his face "Doc? John?" You shook him and sobbed "John!" you held him close and sobbed in his chest, you didn't hear the door open. You didn't feel Wyatt hold you, the only thing you felt was pain. Your chest felt tight as you cried you finally saw Wyatt and you cried harder "J-John, hes-hes gone." Wyatt held you and nodded not knowing what else to say.
The next few days are a blur, Virgil kept the twins, and Wyatt staid with you "Honye you need to eat something." You just staired out the window not saying anything tears falling down your cheeks. A few weeks later you go into labor and Wyatt is by your side the whole time, helping you encouraging you. After 12 hours you have a daughter "S-She looks just like him." She was your little savior, the one thing that kept you going. Wyatt looked at you "What are you going to name her?" You held her close as she nursed "Holly. Holly Holliday." When the twins met their sister they were so excited, Daisy was proud to be the big sister and John looked at you "Daddy love baby." Wyatt rubbed your shoulders and you smiled "Yes daddy loves this baby, he loved you too sweet boy."
The years went by and your children grew up into wonderful adults, John became a dentist like his Father, Daisy had a beautiful family and gave you grandchildren to love. But Holly, oh Holly was too much like her Father. She got into the gunslinig crew and traveled with them helping others and even became a sherif of a small town. You were proud of your children, and the lives they had made for themselves.
When it came to be your turn they were all by your side. Holly smiled "You're going to be with daddy mama." As you go you can see a flash of light and then nothing, you open your eyes and your back in tombstone. A young woman again, you were scared frantically looking around until you heard "Hello my darlin'." You turn around and see him, standing tall in the sunshine looking as handsome as ever "My huckleberry." He walked towards you and touched your hand "your home darlin' your home."

AHHHHH this is the last part! I sobbed while writing this
Doc didn't think it was a good idea for his pregnant wife to be in the saloon, you were nine months along, and you could pop at any time. He had cards in one hand and his other was on your stomach, your son or daughter loved to move and the only way they would calm down was if Doc had his hand on you. You had a hand under your stomach and your feet were in your husband's lap, you were exhausted but you refused to go lay down. Doc looked at you and rubbed your leg "Darlin' you should go lay down, you are falling asleep over there." he coughed and covered his mouth still looking at you. You shook your head "Im ok my handsome man." You felt a strong kick and groaned moving your feet sitting up quickly and breathing.
The men sitting at the table looked at you, Doc's friends dropped their cards and stood up. Your brother Wyatt rubbed your shoulder "(y/n) I think you should go lay down, Doc will go with you I'll play his hand." You felt Doc's hands on your shoulders helping you up "I feel fine, the baby is too much like you they like to move I blame you-" You wince and feel a tightness and then a gush of water, Doc jumps and holds you closer coughing softly and holding you close "Wyatt! Get a doctor to the hotel, I'm going to get (y/n) to our room!" He picked you up and carried you to the hotel "I-It hurts." You gripped his shirt and groaned
Doc got up to the hotel and laid you down and ran a hand over your face "I know it does darlin' I'm so sorry." He had his hand on your stomach and could feel your muscles contracting "My dear, you are so strong. So strong." He kissed you and rubbed your cheek and looked at the doctor as he came in, he looked at you "Let's have a baby darlin'."
Doc looked at the clock, it had been seven hours and you weren't progressing "Can't you do something? Cant, you see she's in pain?!" The doctor left to go find some medicine for you, and Doc got into bed with you and held you close to his chest, he places his hand on your large stomach "Darlin' listen to me, you can do this. You are so strong, so much stronger than me." He kissed your sweaty head and felt you curl forward as the pain went through you.
"My dear, do you want your brother here?" (y/n) nodded "P-please my love." Doc got up and ran to the saloon "WYATT!" When he came running he took his arm "(y/n) wants you in the room with her, she's not processing." Wyatt and Doc went up to the room and heard you screaming, they barged in and saw the doctor helping you through the pain "I gave her some medicine, it will take a little while to kick in. If need be I can give her morphine." Doc comes around and holds you "My dear hold my hand, break it if you have to- oh my dear, you have a grip!" Wyatt rolled his eyes and bent down and rubbed your face "Hey sweetpea, look at me." You looked up at Wyatt and started to cry "I-It hurts. Wyatt make it stop!" He held you and rubbed your stomach "Shhh it's ok, I know it hurts. But think after this you get to meet your baby, the sweet little life you and Doc made."
It had been 24 hours of grueling labor, you crying and begging for it to be over. Wyatt and Doc were both helping you through it and getting you anything you needed. The doctor looked at you "Mrs. Holiday, I need you to push." Doc got behind you and Wyatt held your hand, what felt like an eternity of pushing you heard the cry of your baby, and you and Doc both were crying. The doctor looks up at you "It's a boy!" Doc kissed your shoulder "Thank you, my love. Thank you." As you held your newborn you smiled "He looks just like you, my handsome man." Wyatt chuckled "Poor kid."
You were resting as Doc held your son "I think we should name him after you my love. John Holiday Jr." Doc smiled and kissed you "That is magnificent my dear." You looked at the doctor as he kept his eye on you, making sure you were ok. You started to feel the same pain "D-doc?" He looked at you as you hunched over crying out "Something is wrong." The doctor checks you and his eye go wide "Oh my lord. Ma'am? you are having twins." you looked at him "Twins?!"
Doc handed his son to Wyatt and held your hand "Come on darlin' just like last time." You held his hand and cried as you pushed, you had been pushing for an hour and the doctor was trying to help "I can't do it Doc! I can't do this!" He bent down to tour level "My love, you are so strong. You can do this, let's meet our surprise baby." you pushed for a while longer screaming and had sweat running down your face as you heard the second cry. You flopped back on Doc and felt him rub your back the doctor smiled "It's a girl."
You held docs hand as you breathed "We have a daughter." The doctor handed her to you and smiled "Congratulations, you have two healthy babies." Wyatt kept ahold of the baby and smiled at your daughter "What are you going to name her." Doc smiled "Daisy. Daisy Holiday." You looked up at him "A daisy if you do." He chuckled and kissed you "I love you my dear" You smile back at him holding your daughter on your chest "I love you too my handsome man."

You clutch the note to your chest and smile feeling a tear fall down your face, you sniffle and look at Wyatt. You open the box and smile, you pick up a blue hair clip and hold it "This is so beautiful." Wyatt smiled and started to walk out "Wait. Give this to Doc" You walk over and kiss Wyatt's cheek, and rub his other one with your thumb "Thank you, Wyatt." You turn back around, start to take your hair out, and hear the door shut. You took your robe off and got into the tub in the room and washed your body.
Wyatt swallowed as he walked into the room and saw Doc looked at him "Ah! Wyatt my friend, how is she? How is the love of my life?" he turned around and smiled "Did you give her my gift? Did my darlin' like it?" He looked at Wyatt who looked worried "What's the matter? I she ok?" He coughed and held the bed, he wiped his head and looked at him "What's the matter, Wyatt?" Wyatt stepped forward "She wanted me to give you this." He took a step and was by his cheek, Wyatt turned his head and kissed Doc's cheek "She rubbed my cheek too but I don't think I want to do that Doc."
Doc laughed and looked at him "Well, thank you for bringing her gift over." He coughed and sat on the bed "Wyatt, my darlin' is marrying a dyin' man. She knows I'm dyin' and yet she still loves me and wants to marry me." He looked at Wyatt "We want to have children, I want to give that to her. Maybe a child will leave her with a piece of me." Doc felt Virgil wipe his head and he closed his eyes "Chest.....hurts." Doc laid down and heard Wyatt and Virgil talking "Don't tell my love. She would want to cancel the wedding, she has had to do that twice. Im marrying my darlin' no matter what happens."
Doc kept his word and was standing at the alter watching you walk down the isle, Wyatt was walking you and kissed your cheek and smirked "Concider it a wedding gift." He patted your back and smiled at Doc, "You take care of her now ya hear?" You smiled and took docs hands and looked into his beautiful eyes "Hello my dear, my love, my life." you blushed and put your head down, you felt Docs hand on your chin "Dont hide it, don't hide your beauty. I love your blush darlin."
The wedding went by quickly, and later that day you were at the saloon with your now husband and all your friends. You were sitting on Doc's lap and he had a hand on your back rubbing small circles on the small of your back. You had a few drinks and were feeling good, you smile at your husband and kiss him holding his face. You hear him moan and felt his hand slip up your dress. You heard Virgil groan and Wyatt chuckle "Doc why don't you take your wife upstairs, you can start your honeymoon early." Doc looked at you and smiled "I think that's a wonderful idea, don't you dear?" He stood up and took your hand "Good evening gentlemen, I'm taking my beautiful wife upstairs to defile her." He led you upstairs and got into the room and locked the door
You stood in the room and watched Doc walk towards you and kiss your neck, you sighed and he moved your dress over and kissed your shoulder. "D-Doc....." He smiled on your skin and held your side "You my dear are gorgeous." He nipped at your skin and smiled at his work, he left a purple mark 'claiming his territory' he lead you over to the bed and laid you down lifting up your dress and kissing your stomach "Such a beautiful woman." He kissed down until he was at your mound and kissed it smiling as you moan he licked you and dove in holding your hips as you move "Now darlin' you know the rule. Doc held your hand and looked at Wyatt when you cried "Hurry up! You're hurting her!" The doctor smiled and patted your leg "Congratulations Mrs. Holiday, you are with child." Doc holds you tighter and kissed you "Oh my sweet girl, you're having a baby. We will be parents." He kissed you and rubbed your for now flat stomach, you kissed him and looked at him "what did I tell you, love, you never miss."
