Being Jax’s old lady was a hard job, especially with the danger that comes Primrose’s way, but it was always the danger that Jax worried about, but instead it was the men around her.

He knew that he could trust his brothers, knew that they would never hurt or take advantage of little Primrose, but he always worried about them scaring her away.

Especially Happy.

Primrose never seemed to fear him though, but instead always enjoyed the man’s presence. It didn’t stop Jax from being on his toes when she was left alone with Happy, just like tonight.

He watched Primrose from a distance, a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other, has she chatted up Happy with a smile on her face. Happy always seemed to be closed off though, the same emotion never leaving his face despite Jax’s little ball of sunshine continued to laugh and make jokes.

How could he never crack a smile around the most beautiful girl Jax laid eyes on? She seemed to always make the worse times seem better.

Even when they first met, he was a bloody angry mess and she still put a smile on his face.

He had been shot when he first met Primrose, she had found him on the side of the road, his bike wrecked and his body even worse.

Most people would have been terrified to see him, some would even leave him for dead, but not her. Primrose carried his body to her car and drove him all the way to the hospital, waiting by his side until he was awake.

Ever since then Jax knew that he had to have her by his side, and so he worked his hardest to make her his old lady.

Primrose looked at Jax through the crowd and smiled. She looked back at Happy before making her way over to her man and instantly wrapping his arms around his waist.

Jax wrapped his arm around her shoulders and kissed the top of her head. “I haven’t seen you in awhile babe, you doing okay?” He asked deeply, running his fingers through the ends of her hair.

Primrose smiled up at her man and nodded. “Yeah just talking to Happy.”

“And you’re still here sunshine?” He teased making her shrug.

“He’s not that bad.” She said simply making Jax pause and stare down at her.

“That’s some sort of joke, right?” Jax smiled.

“Okay maybe that’s not the right thing to say,” Primrose smiled and patted his chest, “You all are bad, but you’re not as horrible as you think.” She explained. “Trust me, I’ve been with plenty of horrible men.”

Jax raised a brow. “How many is plenty?”

“Oh darlin’,” She shook her head, using a term that she heard often hanging around Jax, “you don’t want to know.”

He let out a sigh and shook his head. “We’ll talk about that later,” He breathed out, “so what’s up with you and Happy? You always talk to the man like your best friends.”

Primrose smiled and shrugged. “We kind of are.”

Jax let out a side smirk, taking a swig of his beer. “So, you do each other’s hair and shit?” He teased making his little ball of sunshine into a fiery pistol.

She smacked his chest, making him grunt, before speaking. “Don’t be an ass.” She smirked up at him before shaking his head. “We just have some things in common.”

“You and Happy?” He turned to look down at her fully, making sure that she was telling the truth. “You and Happy have things in common?”

She thought for a minute before nodding. “Yeah in a way.” She let out a breath. “I just like talking to him.”

Jax paused before nodding, wondering what his sunshine had in common with a man like Happy. “What do you talk to him about?”

A pink tint filled Primrose’s cheeks. “Come on Jax,” She said embarrassed.

“You can tell me baby.” He chuckled, placing a kiss on her forehead.

She shrugged and looked at the ground. “A lot of things. The club, you, family, tattoos…” She trailed.

“Tattoos?” He questioned with a grin.

“Yeah.” She nodded. “I love some of his work, especially his smiley face ones.” She chuckled happily. “We talk about them when I’m down, and I think that I would maybe like something like that.”

Jax couldn’t help the grin that formed on his face. “We can get you something. Anything to make you happy baby.” He kissed her softly, gripping her chin to hold her in place as he deepened the kiss.

Primrose pulled away with a giggle. “Well it sounds like a tattoo would make you happy.” She teased.

“You make me happy.” He smiled softly down at her.

“Does that mean I can still hang out with Happy?” She asked while biting her lip.

He reached forward and released her lip from between her teeth gently.

“Of course, you can still hang out with Happy.” He said with a small smile.

Primrose let out a slight squeal before going onto her tiptoes to kiss the man she was in love with, just as she was about to turn away and leave Jax, he held onto her and pulled her back to him.

Primrose raised a brow at her boyfriend’s action.

“You know you can talk to me about all those things too.” He said gently.

He knew that her relationship was important with Happy, although he didn’t quite still understand why, but he also wanted her relationship with him to be strong.

“Of course.” She reached up to trace her fingertips over his cheek, making him shudder slightly. “But how can I talk to you about when you’re being an unreasonable ass?” She asked cheekily before kissing his cheek and skipping away, meeting up with some of the other old ladies.

He shook his head, watching with a proud smile as his old lady, his little ball of sunshine fit right in with the others. Whether it be Happy, an old lady, or a even a crow-eater, there was something in Primrose that lighted up the world.

That is why he was so happy to call her his.

His little ball of sunshine.

Fake Fic Title: On The Naughty List

AND HERE WE HAVE ANOTHER SOA THING… This is for a fanfic idea I’ve kind of had floating around in my head for years now but haven’t ever really had the courage to actually do anything with.. @rampagewriting let me use her amazing bb Alex in this, so she’s mentioned throughout. No, the stories aren’t really connected (unless she says otherwise) but I just… Hardcore ship Alex and Chibs and like… This literally would not come together at all without them both being involved. So a huge thank you to @rampagewriting for this and for giving me input for most of this. I wasn’t going to end it like I did, but… It happened, oops? Anyway, maaaybe I miiight consider turning this into a fic. Until then, ( bc honestly, I’m torn between her with Juice and her with Opie ) I’m gonna do fake fic / song titles with Juice and Hazel or Opie and Hazel… KInda like I do with Evie/Daryl and Evie/Shane… OH OH ALSO… THIS IS AN AU TIMELINE KINDA… WHERE JUICE DOESN’T DIE.

JAX

Jax wouldn’t say it outright at first – he’d prefer to show you he loves you. But after you’d been together for a little while and he was sure that your relationship was permanent, he’d tell you he loves you late one night, while you were cuddled up on the couch. It would come out of nowhere and you’d look up at him, surprised. He’d smile back down at you and lean down to kiss you.

OPIE

Opie would tell you he loves you for the first time when someone threatened your life. He would be there to rescue you and he’d wrap you in his huge arms and mumble something about “I was so worried, I love you, I thought I’d lost you.” And you’d realize exactly how much you meant to him.

CHIBS

Chibs would take a long, long time to properly admit his feelings for you. He’d purposely act indifferent toward your relationship at first. He’d pretend he wasn’t as interested in you as he really was, and you’d reach a point where you’d decide to call it quits after he was particularly distant for a while. He’d tell you that the reason he was distant is because he didn’t want you caught in the crossfire of all the club shit, and that he wants you to stay because he loves you.

TIG

Tig wouldn’t take long at all to tell you he loves you, he’d be honest about his feelings from the beginning. After a few weeks, he’d say it for the first time and it would come out of nowhere. But after he’d said it once and you’d said it back, he’d tell you every day, just so you know how much you mean to him.

HAPPY

Hap would take a while to tell you, mainly because he didn’t want to show his emotions. It scares the hell out of him, the way he feels about you. He’d tell you quietly when you’d be lying in bed together and the next time he’d tell you would probably be your wedding day. But you’d know by the way he’d show you affection in other ways that he meant it.

JUICE

Juice would be scared to tell you at first, thinking it was too early and it might scare you off, so he’d wait a couple of weeks. But he’d know from the start that he loves you, and when he’d eventually blurt it out one day, your heart would melt, because you’d have wanted to tell him you love him since the beginning. You’d immediately say it back and jump into his arms. After that you’d both tell each other every day.
