Hello, and welcome to the official page of Forthman Industries. We are a rapidly growing, tight-knit family based in lovely Medoly, New York. Beckham Forthman (CEO, Founder)

Our beloved founder, Mr. Forthman, may initially seem intimidating, but we can assure you he has a heart of gold. He has founded multiple charities to benefit countless strangers, and his company is on course to singlehandedly eliminate unemployment in our city. Even as a very busy man working very highly in the company, he always finds time to personally speak with new hires, and others who may wish to speak with him.

Reid Loudstone (Vice President)

Though Mr. Loudstone is notably more private and not as accomplished as his close business partner, he is still ready, willing, and able to work with all new and prospective employees to welcome them into the company with open arms. He will initially accept most incoming emails and messages before sending them off to Mr. Forthman, and he will occasionally reach out to future hires and partners on his behalf.

"Hey man, you look like you need a hug. Are you okay?" Stellan tries to keep his smile warm rather than pitying but there was something about the man in front of him. Something that said a hug wouldn't even fix 1% of his problems.

Initially, Donovan's body tensed at the unexpected contact from this stranger. As soon as he accepted the hug, he very nearly fell into Stellan's arms and almost dropped his now-cold coffee onto the ground beneath them. For a second, it almost seemed as though he'd fallen asleep right then and there- before he stood himself up again and straightened out himself and the black tie wrapped around his neck.

"Oh, I-- yeah, yeah, no, don't worry, I'm fine, I just...." He waved, before curling his hand into a fist to cover his mouth as he yawned. "Oh. Geez. Sorry, I am just, really not used to my new schedule. If I didn't know any better, I'd say they're trying to kill me, ha ha!"

His uncomfortable laughter quickly ceased before he clarified. "I'm joking, of course. I just need time to adjust. Been a long time since I held a job, since I bothered being useful."

He stared down into the dark cup in his hands, before the watch on his wrist caught his attention. "No, no, NO! Christ, I'm going to be late!" He stumbled past Stellan, taking a moment to turn back to him before leaving.

"Tha-thank you. I hope... I-I hope I can see you again, soon."

Beckham's already grinning the second he spots them, as though he already knows what's coming. He leans down and patiently holds his head out for them until they kiss him. "How sweet of you!" He cooed, gently placing his right hand (with it's red heart-shaped mark) over his heart. "You know, typically, I'd be giving you some lecture about how you need all kinds of super special authorization to be up here- but, I'll let Reid know to make an exception for you." He smiled and waved as he stepped back into his office, with Reid himself soon leaving it.

He silently regarded them with tired eyes from beyond a clipboard in his hands. After a second of studying them visually, he spoke almost monotonously, his voice deprived of both joy and agitation. "Hello." He began, "Welcome to Forthman Ind--" His impending spiel was interrupted by their kiss, which seemed to fully shift his demeanor. His cheeks flushed red as his eyebrow raised. "I. Um, well. We...." He ran a hand through his slicked-back hair, causing a streak of red to shine through his black hair. He then lowered the clipboard onto a nearby desk, freeing up his hand to straighten his already perfect tie. "I'm sorry, I'm afraid I have to ask you to leave. We look forward to seeing you again." With that, he led them to an elevator, and sent them down to the building's lobby.

The elevator stopped once on it's way down. It was already considerably late, and most others had gone home by this point- but the doors opened up in one of the offices to let in a rail-thin pathetic excuse of a man that silently took his place next to them. Though his body swayed and head nodded down to the floor as the elevator continued to descend, he occasionally looked over to them and attempted to keep a slightly nervous smile on his face. He reached a hand out to them after a second of hesitation. "Are you new, too? Um, I'm Donovan-" He clearly had more to say, but cut himself off early. His smile twitched, as though he was afraid he'd already said something wrong. He stood frozen like this for a moment- long enough for them to give one final kiss. When they pulled away, his smile had been completely replaced by a look of confusion. By the time the elevator doors dinged open, though, it had returned, now appearing much more calm under his red cheeks. "Um. Okay." He muttered to himself. "Okay. Okay. Okay." He continued quietly chanting as he stumbled out to his car in the near-empty parking lot.

Once again, Beckham leans down for them, now tapping the area of his face that they then kiss. "What did I ever do to deserve two days in a row of kisses?" He beamed down to them, playfully patting the top of their head. He waved once more as he began to depart for his office, calling back to them before vanishing beyond the tall, dark wooden door. "I'll call Reid up for you, and I'll make sure he brings Price along with him."

After a moment of silence, the elevator opened to let Reid and Donovan out into the area outside of Beckham's office. While Donovan's smile twisted to one of sincerity, Reid simply tilted his head upon seeing them standing in front of him again. He was the first to step from the elevator and approach them directly, his tone as flat and dead as when they met. "I'm sorry, but if you insist on having this become a recurring thing, I'm afr-" Once again, his thoughts were cut off by their kiss, though he now seemed notably more frustrated by it. He sighed, attempting to hide his reddened face by scowling at them while looking down to the floor. "I need you to understand, this is a place of business. We can't afford to be distracted by people only trying to waste our time." He growled, pointing them back towards the elevator.

Donovan passively watched their exchange, only occasionally opening his mouth so he could fail to speak. His face fell as Reid directed them to the elevator, and he slowly wrapped his arms around himself as they turned- but was pleasantly surprised when they managed to grab his hand and place one last kiss on it before leaving. He beamed at them, waving excitedly with his freshly kissed hand before Reid's stern glare wiped the smile back off his face. He continued to watch them until the elevator doors closed, already eager to see them return.

"Hello, my name is Alice Nero and I run an independent business specializing in deals, dreams and magic. We also have a medical branch, which I see you are opening up for your own business. If you are interested, we would be happy to talk about possible assistance between our two businesses. Here's my card for further contact info."

Deals, dreams, and... magic? It was surprising to hear anyone say it aloud; most humans were completely oblivious to (or in denial of) the existence of magic. Beckham studied the details on the small card in his hand. From what he could tell, this 'Alice' seemed human enough to him, but was he willing to risk it with a trip to her office? No- best to keep her here, instead.

"Well, this certainly sounds promising." He said with a smile, carefully approaching. "If you don't mind, Miss Nero, I'd love to talk out the details with you up in my office." He placed a cold hand on her shoulder and turned her to face an elevator behind him.
