This is a psuedo canon compliant AU where "Team Fortress" is the name of a show broadcasting the many matches between the RED and BLU teams, explored through a combination of fancomic and in character responses.
Plot progress will be made through new comic pages, while asks will be largely about character and relationship exploration.
Setting Details:
The year is 1968, and the current teams were hired four years ago. Team Fortress, while only running for six months so far, has far exceeded expectations. Both in popularity and in how it's improved the public's opinion of RED and BLU. Not to mention the advertising for Mann Co. Not every skirmish is televised, of course. Can't risk the public knowing too much. But even the matches that are televised are pre-determined and highly edited. Basically, it's reality television. Meet Them All was actually released as promotion material for the show, while the events of Expiration Date occurred two months before Team Fortress began airing
