What a despicable realm, it is a wonder that the inhabitants haven’t died out from stupidity yet.
Do not be so quick to dismiss, Sigyn. Midgard can be surprisingly pleasant if given the chance.

Is everyone alright?
It seemed liked thing’s were getting kind of dangerous.
I am fine, Miss Odette. Are you alright?
"I do not know," she admitted with a frown, "I had the turkey, but I do not feel any different from usual, perhaps it takes a while to work?" She’d never admit it, but she was afraid of the possibility of taking a poison, knowing how dangerous they could be back on Asgard.
Fandral shook his head, "No, no, you received the placebo as I did." He could remember Fury's words. He watched with intrigue as Thalia became visibly calmer at hearing she hadn't been poisoned. For a moment, Fandral wondered if it was fear he was seeing in the young princess' eyes. He sighed and smiles at Thalia, recalling that he hadn't known her to be fearful in a long time, and waved off the theory.
"Fandral, you are a professor here, and you did not know of this?" Thalia breathed disbelievingly, reaching for her own dagger, unsure if she would be authorised to use it, but ready to battle if needed, nevertheless.
Fandral looked around, students and teachers alike were eyeing each other with suspicion and cation. "Well, in my defense, I'm rather new to the staff." He said with a shrug, "Tell me, which poison did you receive?" He wondered if he would have to do battle with Thalia, something he would do... but certainly wouldn't enjoy.
"Oh, I swear to the AllFather, what in the Nine Realms is happening?"
"Why is everyone in such a rage all of a sudden?"
"It seems we've been made to play a game before being told the rules." Fandral said, crouching at the ready and reaching for his basket-hilt sword.
"Oh that's right. Parties don't require weaponry." Fandral thought outloud to himself, remembering that his sword was on its display mantle in his office.
So they tell me a certain Asgardian has come to Fury Academy.
Thalia giggled, “They have both always enjoyed each others company, and she has been a valuable friend to him through the years.” she smiled at the memories of her brother spending his afternoons playing and training with Rosa, “I’m sure you are looking forward to seeing Rosamund as much as I am towards seeing my brother.”
Fandral smiled and shook his head, peering into the middle distance where his reverie seemed to be playing out before his eyes alone. "Yes, yes, they did. The poor lad, he suffered one too many embarrassing pranks at my hand... hindsight holds perfect vision, as they say." He shrugged, bringing himself back to the here and now of his life. "It is truly great to have you here, Thalia. I'm sure you'll feel quite at home on Midgard in no time." He placed a strong, slender-fingered hand on her rounded shoulder.
So they tell me a certain Asgardian has come to Fury Academy.
"I arrived yesterday, but needed to rest, since the bifrost has never agreed with my nerves or wellbeing." she explained, grimacing at the memory of travelling by the rainbow bridge. "I believe that Father is in Asgard, dealing with the peace treaty concerning Jotunheim, but I’m sure that he will visit Midgard soon, as we all know that he is very fond of Earth. Teagen has not come yet but I’m sure that he will shortly, and I look forward to seeing him again."
Fandral nodded, listening intently as the princess spoke. He hmm'd a slight response, signalling his understanding of what the bifrost has been known to do to the body of its passengers. "Ah, indeed. No rest for a busy man like Thor, of course." Fandral commented. "Ha! My daughter Rosa has yet to visit Midgaurd as well." leaning in with a sly grin he theorized, "Perhaps she and Teagan have run away together, those crazy children." He laughed at himself, feeling like a foolish old man.
Um… Pardon me, but what are you doing… - in here?
My goodness, Lakelyn, I'm so sorry! I was just... nevermind! I'll come back. I'm sorry!
So they tell me a certain Asgardian has come to Fury Academy.
Thalia grinned at his enthusiasm, and returned the hug, making sure not to topple over from his strength, “I see that Midgard has not changed you at all” she laughed.
"You can take a warrior out of Asgard, but you can't take Asgard out of a warrior." Fandral paraphrased with joy, pulling himself away from the young princess. "When did you arrive? Has Teagan come with you? Have you met with your father yet?"
So they tell me a certain Asgardian has come to Fury Academy.
"Greetings Fandral," Thalia beamed as she saw her father’s good friend, "It is wonderful to see you again."
Fandral nearly jumped for joy when he saw Thalia, his legs and arms extending as if reaching for the four corners of a rectangle that encompassed his body. "Thalia, my dear! You've finally arrived!" He lunged like ravenous bear to wrap an iron-cast hug around her slender frame.
So they tell me a certain Asgardian has come to Fury Academy.
My question is:
Strange Feelings, I Mean Food | Fandral x Lakelyn
Lakelyn nipped on her full bottom lip as the women returned with her green tea, and Fandral’s beer. She never had a taste for ale but it didn’t surprise her that Fandral was drinking it even though it was only the afternoon, a typical Asgardian male thing. Lakelyn looked up as she realized that it was her turn to order, “I’d like the, ugh – Pad Thai, oh and the phanaeng curry, oh and – no that’s it, just that.” She concluded her lips stretching to smile warmly at the women before she nodded and left.
Lakelyn watched the women walk away, her eyes glancing over the other people at the restaurant, before her eyes looked at Fandral, catching his mischevious gaze. “When was the last time you were here, on Earth?” Lakelyn questioned her tongue licking her bottom lip before turning her smile to Fandral. She had heard many of Fandral’s stories second hand from his daughter, but she couldn’t remember of stories of Earth, most of the tales regarded Thor and a few other warriors that Lakelyn’s older brother admired greatly.
Fandral sniggered as Lakelyn ordered with so much enthusiasm, it was amusing to see her behave like a child. It brought him back to a reverie in which he had taken Lakelyn to see the forest for the first time. She had ooh'd and aw'd at the different fauna and wished to climb every tree she could reach a branch off of. He smiled, looking down at Lakelyn with glossy but joyoush eyes. "Hmm?" Fandral hummed in an absent-minded response to Lakelyn's question. "Oh," he chuckled lightly, "A long time ago, I'm not sure how many Midgardian years... but long before there was ever a New York, I can assure you."
He leaned back in his seat, feeling like an old fisherman ready to one again tell his tale of the one that got away. "They had no machinery like you see here now, hierarchy was still the way of the law and living." He laughed, "Oh, Midgardians do enjoy their laws and governments... they like them so much, they can't stand to have just one!" He laughed and reached out for his Midgardian beer to take a swig.
Christmas?
"I believe that Midguardians have a holiday called Christmas? What is the point of it?"
"It's a holiday in which you exchange gifts with those you love! I'm sorry you wont be able to take part in it." Fandral quipped, a smirk exposing itself on his lips.

What impact do you want to leave on the world?
I'd like to know that if not I, my daughter will become some one great.
3.
Are you holding onto something that you need to let go of?
Most likely..
I hope everyone is prepared for my great winter prank...
You are truly too kind Fandral, I am surprised you aren’t The Gracious Fandral.
But it seems that title has been given to another far more deserving of it.
But of course, being called Fandral the Dashing has its advantages.
I hope everyone is prepared for my great winter prank...
Fandral, you flatter me, I’m not nearly as young as you might assume. Besides, where are your manners, it’s impolite to talk about age with a dame.
Age is nothing to be ashamed of, my dear. Your beauty speaks volumes your age could not begin to show.
