Today was a crap day at work. I work in animal services and people love to post untrue things about us and what we're doing with animals so I got to see lovely comments about how we're monsters and murderers and we should just kill each other and ourselves. Meanwhile we're taking care of 200 dogs society didn't want while people yell at us from their phones but when I ask them if they'd like to come adopt it's "Oh well i can't, I already have cats/dogs. Cool, cool, cool. But these are the same people saying that the shelter workers should be saving these animals and adopting them when most of the workers have 5+ animals. We see dozens of animals A DAY, we can't just adopt them all. These people have no idea what it's like to actually work in rescue while they're sitting there calling me a "sick bastard"

I'm so tired, today drained me.
