To touch on this more- most popular depictions in media I've seen are unhealthy. Lack of safe words, comfort of only one side shown but ignored for the other, etc. I wish it was more advertised and available that there are healthier ways to indulge in kink! I think it would prevent some of these unhealthy dynamics being reflected in real life too. You have to search for places to get better information. It's frowned upon to talk and share about it.

Which is why this little cookie run fic makes me so happy to see! Both discomfort on the sub and the dom side being properly communicated and scenes being stopped for it. And aftercare! Aftercare for both! Mentions of subdropping and subspace.

Venting about work bs

I need a new job. I need a new job so bad.

Got a call from the former manager that the store looks awful. Which it does- topping table is broken and leaks constantly. Hot water in the bathroom doesn't work. (WHICH SHE LIED ABOUT TO THE OWNER) The dish sink faucet is dangerously close to falling off. All of the air vents are leaking. The floors are gross. Their are puddles of water in several areas that keep appearing no matter how often you scrub.

Meanwhile I have a shit team. No access to things that would help me manage more smoothly and unable to hire anyone to help.

I have scrubbed several spots she never touched. Handled multiple equipment breakdowns, retrained people she poorly trained as well as trained new hires, did my fucking best to keep things in stock and clean, and am doing what I can to handle this shit show while also maintaining a boundary of- this is work. I'm not paid to do things off the clock so I need to stop doing things off the clock- but I answer phone calls, pick things up, deal with petty drama between employees. I've had to make sure this one employee stays fucking sober at work-

My so called friend when I try and be like hey yeah- I just go chewed out for this I'm sick of this completely ignored me to ask for me to schedule him more with someone. Meanwhile he is a lazy and arrogant who I only stay on speaking terms with because I want to stay friends with his girlfriend. Sexist shithead. If he wanna talk so much about being a man, he should man up and do some fucking work.

She picked out the counters haven't been scrubbed in so long. They have been. I do it- my team lead does it. Sorry I sit for maybe 15 minutes total on my 11 hour shift mostly to do paperwork or orders- Technically by law I can have two 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute unpaid lunch break when I'm working shifts like that.

This is taking a big toll on my mental and physical health. I feel disgusting and tired and stressed. I don't. Have time ever. I work 32-40 on the clock but I'm doing anout 5 hours work off the clock for them.

The shit with my friend's boyfriend especially- he introduced me to her friends as his boss. Not- Kat's friend. His boss.

I'm trying to regulate my emotions myself. Trying to handle this shit I just feel so disgusting and tired. Emotional.
