Delicious homemade brunch ☺️
1 year apart
165 -> 125.
I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’ve made changes for the better.
One of my favourite progress photos. The first photo I had just finished college. I was anxious, depressed, feeling lost, and had no motivation. Second photo a complete change in not only my body but my mind too, all thanks to my lifestyle change.
There was a 39 lbs difference here. The small changes you make will add up if you stay consistent!
I’m very proud of my progress. The workout clothes I once wore when I was getting starting on my weightloss journey no longer fit
OH WOW i'm so glad you're back ??? It's been years I'm following your blog and I was wondering what happened. College life tends to be a godamn challenge and you manage to survive !! I wish you to stay healthy for a looooong time and to keep going
Yes I am! It is so cool that anyone even thought of me, I really thought everyone had forgotten.
I posted a few times throughout the years in college but I never could keep up with healthy eating or exercise and I gained a lot of weight. Now that the weight is off I feel great and I really want to share with everyone my progress and what I’m doing. Thank you so much for messaging me!
167 -> 124 lbs
I’m back. It feels so good to be able to say I did it. I lost myself and gained so much weight through college. I went from being 125 lbs and in peak physical condition in high school to my heighest weight yet and I just brushed it off and told myself “it’s fine, I’m an adult now, that’s what happens.” I settled on my own self, not realizing that what I really lost was not only my physique but more importantly my confidence and a big chunk of my identity. Getting in shape again and focusing on making healthier decisions food wise has done more for me mentally then anything ever has. I’m so greatful I didn’t give up on myself
Anyone still here....

Whooah! Sorry if you get questions like this oftentimes but I just tumbled across your great before/after pic and was wondering: What has been / is your routine since you started your "journey" (in May)? I think I have about the same shape as you when you started and just began doing strength training. :) I'm stunned, hope you're alright!!
Are you taking about the progress pic from May to October of last year? Ah my routine has mainly been pretty relaxed. I tried to do the gym 2-3 times a week depending on how much I was working that week. And I’d do 20-30 minute run at the start of workouts. My workouts were mainly strength training. I’d do a leg day, then an arm/back day, then an ab/glute day. I’d try to lift more weight each week and focused on weight over reps (to build muscle) :)
I absolutely didn't meant to be rude or anything by saying your "journey" since May, I didn't know about your background and surely know that there's more about it than weightloss and gaining. Anyway, I really hope you're well and I'm even more happy for your progress overall. :))
Sorry for the late reply! Don’t worry I took no offence to it :) I’m well thank you
