The Soho House is probably THE most internationally renowned members clubs for creatives. Other than New York, you can find it in Miami, LA, Chicago, Toronto, London, Berlin, as well as Istanbul.. It is possible to enter with a friend who is a member: so keep your eyes open!

2. The Stylish I The Norwood

Since it’s tougher to become a member of the Norwood House, we do hope that you will get the chance to take a glimpse at this beauty. Located in an unassuming brownstone, the Norwood was founded by a Brit in 2007. It provides an all-round experience: including a restaurant, lounge and a nightclub for special events.

3. The Buzzy I The Parlor

The Parlor is a fun dining & social club. Probably the most recently established, the club is located in Soho and is especially popular past 10PM...When the music is turned up and the crowd gets in the mood..

New York Export I PDT

The almost-too-famous speakeasy bar PDT (Please-dont-tell) is soon opening a location in Hong Kong! We hope you have already tried this old-school darling. If not, it’s a definite must. Like so many speakeasies you enter the bar through a random entrance. In this case: a phone booth is eagerly awaiting your dial-in! Make sure to dial 1 though.. Definitely worth to stop by. Just make sure it is on the early side, as queues build fast!

As more and more bars are packed with unruly but at times lovable New Yorkers it becomes difficult to find the spots that no one yet knows about. Since we’re in the business of not keeping secrets we’ll share these hidden gems but you gotta promise you won’t tell!

Angel’s Share (8 Stuyvesant Street)

Head over to Village Yokocho in the East Village, you may notice a strange door that looks like a storage closet at the top of the stairs.

Yet, behind this storage closet actually lays the entrance to Angel’s Share, a low-key Japanese-style speakeasy. Everything in this intimate cocktail lounge exudes class, from the candle lit decor to the creative cocktails.

Featherweight (135 Graham Avenue – Brooklyn)

Walk through the hidden black doors beneath the painting of a boxer hugging his bag on Graham Avenue, and you will find yourself standing in one of Williamsburg’s best kept secret spots, Featherweight.

This hidden bar oozes an old school rustic decor with an even cozier atmosphere.

67 Orange Street (2082 Frederick Douglas Blvd.)

Make your way up to Fredrick Douglas Blvd., and you’ll find a storefront discreetly hidden below heavy purple curtains.

Behind these curtains lays 67 Orange Street, a Harlem speakeasy with a hint of southern charm. Features a mix of vintage and contemporary decor perfectly compliment the vibrant, yet intimate ambience.

Beauty & Essex

If your looking for beautiful surroundings, better than average food, and well-made cocktails, we have the formula for you.  Beauty & Essex screams the early-sixties glam from chandlers to a peacock theme dining room to a free-flowing pink champagne in the ladies bathroom. 

Cocktails: Strong but innovative. Try the Masterly Touch with campari pearls settle to the bottom of the glass if your looking to be  daring. 

Recommended Dishes: Toast with whipped ricotta grilled fruit, honey, basil, chile. Don’t forget to also order the box of doughnuts.

Miracle on 9th Street 

This spirited spot takes over alphabet city’s speakeasy style cocktail bar mace to bring you some much needed holiday cheer. Holiday-inspired cocktails include a refreshing, shochu-pine needle Christmas Tree Gimlet, a Redneck Flip sloshing bourbon and Applejack in a Budweiser can and the Joyeux Noel—a gingerbread-infused Calvados number stirred with spiced pumpkin syrup and shaken to a froth with an egg white. 

Sippin’ Santa’s Surf Shack 

Santa’s taking over the East Village this year and he’s bringing you a pop-up bar that combines the christmas feel with that long overdue vacation you never take. The cocktails include a splash of island punch to the yuletide motif, with cheeky tropical sips like a Toboggan Nog (Jamaican rum, house-made pumpkin spice eggnog) and the eponymous, bourbon-charged Sippin’ Santa, with crème de cacao, crème de menthe, egg white, nutmeg and wormwood bitters. 

Baita 

The best for last...Eataly’s most adored rooftop bar transforms itself into the most cozy mountain lodge-inspired rooftop in all of new york city. This rooftop will have you wishing that christmas was a year-round holiday (as if you don’t already). The decor is filled with adirondack chairs, pine trees and vintage Dolomite artwork. Do not miss the chance experience a cozy ski lodge in the Alps that’s come to new york city for a limited time only.

Employees Only 

Located on 510 Hudson St. in the West Village and designed with a 1920’s vibe, this speakeasy will make you feel like you’ve gone back in time. Serving cocktails from the Prohibition era, this bar is hidden behind a psychic storefront so look for the glowing sign!

Between the libations, the jazz band and the burlesque dancers, revelers might forgot what decade it is. There is a distinct element of yuletide cheer about their knockout drink, the absinthe punch! For those looking for a naughty-yet-nice alternative to puritanical eggnog, absinthe could be just the alternative for this year’s holiday punch bowl.  

In a typical Saturday evening the crowded bar spins out of control. The bartenders toss back shots and scream lyrics to “Come Sail Away” by Styx.  

Employees Only was ranked by the Spirited Awards as one of the best cocktail bars on Earth. The cocktails are amazing but wait until you see the burlesque show!

Angel’s Share: Charlie Brown 

Who doesn’t love snuggling up in flannels to watch the Charlie Brown Christmas Movie every year? This cocktail leaves you nostalgic and warm and nonetheless...quite buzzed. Shaken with American Whisky, alibi, peanuts butter aterma cream, milk and then topped with nutmeg, this cocktail will have you taking winter nights out! 

Please Don’t Tell: Great Pumpkin 

Who doesn’t love pumpkin spiced everything during this time of year. New York’s favorite speakeasy spot PDT serves you a frothy twist on your regular pumpkin spiced latte. Grated nutmeg meets the nose, with bready Rittenhouse rye and rich vermouth maple syrup that amps up the spiced, freshly baked-pie qualities of apple brand and southampton pumpkin ale. What a treat! 

Employee’s Only: Ginger Smash 

For those who always describe their desired drinks to patient bartenders as...”something fruity please” this is the holiday cocktail for you. Muddled with ginger root and fresh cranberries and then shaken with Fords gin, schoanauer apple liquor and fresh lemon juice, this drink is as fruity as they come! The end result is beautifully deep red cocktail topped with a green basil leaf that will have any Christmas lover excited! 

Pegu Club: Douglas Fir Gimlet 

This cocktail has a scent like a freshly cut Christmas tree and is a must0try during the holiday season. This cocktail is infused and distilled with springtime buds of an Oregon evergreen and has a base of freshly squeezed grapefruit and limejuice (almost like a red+green juice mix!) 

Baita by La Birreria 

Shhh! This is the best secret of them all... our favorite little flatiron rooftop atop of the infamous Eataly restaurant, revamps itself for the holidays. Eataly rooftop is taken over by a holiday pop-up bar called La Birreria and the cocktails are nothing short of festive and cozy. The namesake “Baita”is a holistic idea of not only snow slopes but also warm hearths. Choose between a variation of three caldi (hot) cocktails with a base of tea, hot chocolate or eggnog and topped off with whipped-cream and candy cane garnish. Wow.
