"Yay!" Ruby said, jumping around like a kid.

"You’re a mage right? Can’t you try and use magic to see us?" Naomi asked curiously. Ren said nothing.

"Oooh, another blind person?" Kris clapped.

"Oops… Sorry… My friend Kaia is hiding behind me, I can feel her breath on my neck… She likes to scare me a lot…" Bea awkwardly chuckled, before she sighed and pulled her manakete friend out from behind her.

"Um… Heya!"

"Hi~!" Ruby said. Ren didn’t do anything. "I’m Ruby, and that’s my twin Ren!"

"Kris."

"I’m Naomi. So…you’re a manakete, too?"

Bea nudged her friend, who had already shied away and was breathing down her neck again. “Kaia, come on!”

"Um.. Y- Yeah… I’m a manakete… J- Just I thought that I was the only one… B- But I only found out about two years ago bec- because my ‘siblings’ were… Older, despite me being the ‘oldest’… A- And then I got hit in the head with a dragonstone because they were angry at me still being y- young…"

"Yay!" Ruby said, jumping around like a kid.

"You’re a mage right? Can’t you try and use magic to see us?" Naomi asked curiously. Ren said nothing.

"Oooh, another blind person?" Kris clapped.

"Yes, but what does that matter?" Owena questioned, eying up the stranger warily, her hand resting on her sword.

"So… Something that does differentiate us then… I know my mother…. Her name was Cherry… My father kept mistaking her for a tree though… Not to mention that I- I- I accidentally killed her!" Owena burst out crying then, unable to hold back her tears any more.

"…Ruby, you answer it." 

"Wh-whaaa?! Why is it always me?!" Knowing that her brother was stubborn, she sighed and did as told. "Well, our mom is named Hanabi, and…I don’t know anything else except that we have an older sibling named Morgan. We do know, however, that we’re part of both the Plegian royal family except we heard that from rumors, and that we’re also part of the Ylissian royal family…"

If you don’t want to go, that’s fine. And if you don’t want me to, I won’t mention our meeting to Hanabi either. All in good time, I suppose."

Bea awkwardly chuckled then, before she heard something nearby, making her grasp her tome tightly. Moments later, she felt a tap on her shoulder, before a giggle. “YOU CRAZY DAUGHTER OF A MANAKETE!”

"I have no idea." Naomi said.

"Neither do I." Kris blinked.

The girl had her back turned, and was close to just breaking down out of confusion, before she decided to ask one last question. “Your mother. Who was your mother?”

HEADCANON #2

1. Each of the four have a personality trait in front of their name at times. Raining Ruby because she can come and go like rain. Ruthless Ren because he shows no mercy and usually doesn't show emotion. Kawaii Cursed Kris(HUSH I KNOW THAT'S A C AND NOT A K) because, well, he's cursed. And lastly, Null Naomi, because she can nullify attacks of people within a mile radius, ally or not. 

2. Kris has extraordinary hearing due to his blindness.

3. Naomi likes meeting new people.

Ugh… Kaia trying to teach me not to talk like some overly-educated person really mustn’t have paid off…."

"Oh? That’s interesting…your friend is named after Owain?" Kris laughed. "Hehehe, funny thing is that Owain is my dad."

"My mom’s name is Nah!" Naomi said.

"Well, we don’t remember her that well, but apparently our mom was named Hanabi…" Ruby said, speaking for herself and for Ren.

Okay, either Owena has been lying to me all of these years, or you two are some sort of long lost siblings!" Bea chuckled, before her eyes went wide, despite her not being able to see. "Hanabi?! As in… My great aunt Sweet’s really close friend Hanabi?!" Bea then chuckled, before she sighed. "This is a really small world nowadays, huh?"

"Well, I don’t have a sibling, so it would be safe to assume we are possibly from an alternate timeline." Kris said.

"Huh?! You know our mom?" Ruby asked, her eyes beginning to sparkle.
