Can we make our character an owner of a shop/business?

Yes you can! And if you would like them to be the owner of a business already established in game, just let us know within your application. Seeing as we aren’t open yet, all positions are available! But in the future I would suggest checking our jobs page for available spots!

Are the vampires more like Vampire Diaries, True Blood, or another popular tv show?

Vampire species information can be found right HERE - but to answer your question, they are much more like the ones from the Vampire Diaries. They have a vamp face like THIS, vervain affects them, and daylight rings ( rings enchanted by a witch ) can keep the sun from burning them.
