it’s crazy how both jon and arya’s very first chapters involve them being laughed at and humiliated in front of a large group of people until they can’t hold back their tears anymore so they run out of the room and right into a fellow outcast who provides unexpected comfort while their direwolf just kind of hangs out and provides emotional support and makes them feel like ~slightly~ less of an outcast in their own home and around their own family. I’m totally normal about this btw 👍
