Here's where I plan on posting longer posts than on my Twitter. I'm AW Fox, a self taught anime artist/comic creator in Hawaii. Genre: Science Fantasy. Rating: SFW/G-PG13. As y'all can see, I have finally figured out Delmos and Logan's colors!🥳(my mom helped me out.🥰) I also started turning their first meeting into a comic and decided to add a protective alien friend character that Logan met while he was on the Slaver ship.

His name is Traygo(currently) and I don't know exactly what he is yet.

Here's what I have on him so far: Traygo is a very paranoid individual, the kind that's always aware of their surroundings and on edge around people, but doesn't always show it. After he and Logan befriend each other he becomes very protective over him, due not only to the fact he's a Naivety, But also his lack of physical strength and stature.(as compared to himself and most other species)

When Traygo was offered the choice, he opted to go home, for various reasons. But when Logan chose the auction, and Traygo saw there was no changing his mind, he insisted on being his chaperone, just to make sure his new friend was going to be safe and well cared for, like the Traders had promised.

Traygo also taught Logan galactic speech.(universal phrases and terms) So he could effectively avoid misunderstandings and being taken advantage of.

That's what I got so far.

And, here's the dialog from the second image if anyone's interested:

Traygo: Are you really sure about this Logan?

Logan: Traygo, for the thousandth time, yes. Will you please stop worrying?

Traygo: It's just...

*knock knock*

Logan: Oh, *stands up* come in!

*Door opens*

Delmos: *walks in* Greetings Logan and Traygo, I am Delmos.

Logan: Uh, H-Hi.

Delmos: OH! You're much more small and adorable in person!! *holds out their hands* May I?

Traygo: Why do you need to touch him? Don't you're eyes work?

Loga: Traygo...

Delmos: Indeed they do, but sight is no replacement for touch. And regardless, I will not touch you, Logan, without your agreement.

Logan: I appreciate that Delmos, you have my agreement.

Traygo let go of Logan at that point partly out of surprise at how quickly Logan gave agreement(Traygo has told him not to) and partly out of respect for his decision.

Once again, I hope it made sense and that it wasn't too wordy or what not.

Some Quick Character Tips

Here are a handful of quick tips to help you write believable characters! 

1. A character’s arc doesn’t need to grow linearly. Your protagonist doesn’t have to go from being weak to strong, shy to confident, or novice to professional in one straight line. It’s more realistic if they mess up their progress on the way and even decline a bit before reaching their goal.

2. Their past affects their present. Make their backstory matter by having their past events shape them into who they are. Growing up with strict parents might lead to a sneaky character, and a bad car accident might leave them fearful of driving.

3. Give reoccurring side characters something that makes them easily recognizable. This could be a scar, a unique hairstyle, an accent, or a location they’re always found at, etc.

4. Make sure their dialogue matches their personality. To make your characters more believable in conversation, give them speech patterns. Does the shy character mumble too low for anyone to ever hear, does the nervous one pace around and make everyone else on edge? 

5. Make your characters unpredictable. Real people do unexpected things all the time, and this can make life more exciting. The strict, straight-A student who decides to drink at a party. The pristine princess who likes to visit the muddy farm animals. When character’s decide to do things spontaneously or in the heat of the moment, it can create amazing twists and turns.

6. Give even your minor character’s a motive. This isn’t to say that all your characters need deep, intricate motives. However, every character should need or want something, and their actions should reflect that. What’s the motive behind a side character who follows your protagonist on their adventure? Perhaps they’ve always had dreams of leaving their small village or they want to protect your protagonist because of secret feelings.

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isn’t a joke, and neither is someone’s life. If you didn’t know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.

These are my ocs Delmos and Logan, I've posted their sketch page to Twitter already but since then I've completed the line art, changed Logan's name(It used to be Kev/Kevin) and came up with a basic idea of how they met. Also, by posting here I don't have the Twitter character limit! Which means I can post more information about them!🥰

Who they are:

《Logan》

•Species: Brinkian(the equivalent of humans in my universe)

•Class: Naivety(Indicates species that are oblivious to other life in the universe and are a rare site)

•Planet of origin: Brink(my equivalent of Earth)

•Residency: Born and raised on Brink and shares a decent sized house with his parents.

•Misc. information: He enjoys gardening, dance cardio, spending time with his family among other things. He has a 9-5 job that he doesn't hate, but isn't especially fond of either.

•Family: He's close with his parents and siblings(all of which are married with kids, who he is also fond of) but more distant with his extended family due to them being very conservative and judgemental, which means they don't much care for his hair style, piercings, tattoos etc.

《Delmos》

•Species: Poldreg(a shape-shifting being made of living matter that doesn't need food, water, sleep or oxygen that tends to be very curious by nature)

•Class: Poldreg(Describes a being with the innate ability to shape-shift so effortlessly, that it's like breathing for them.)

•Planet of origin: Unknown

•Residency: Long-term resident of The Poldreg's Cove(an utopian refuge located in the inhospitable Outer-Zone sector of space, where all are welcome to come relax, refresh and restock) and lives in an luxuriously large flat that can shift just as easily as Delmos themselves.

•Misc. information: Like most Poldregs, they are fascinated by other beings and seek to experience things other beings enjoy/want/need such as food, drink, entertainment and trade, to name a few. They're especially fond of the daily auctions held at the cove, and unlike most of their fellow Poldregs, Delmos has developed a talent for bidding, to the point that if there's something they want, they get it with little to no resistance.

How they met: Logan was abducted by a Slaver ship(a trashy vessel whose crew doesn't take very good care of their live cargo) and is later saved by a Trader ship(a state of the art vessel whose crew pillages Slaver ships with extreme prejudice, but are careful not to harm any cargo) where he is not only taken exceptional care of but is also presented with a choice: They can take him back home, or they can take him to Poldreg's Cove where he'd be put up for auction. They do explain that regardless of who buys him, he would want for nothing, be treated very well and probably even get to visit his home anyway. He decided to go with the latter option for various reasons and Delmos is the one that ends up purchasing him, also, for various reasons.

And there it is... for now. I hope it made sense and wasn't too long.😅

Second, my victi.. I mean, model is my oc Klain. Now for some backstory! (That y'all may or may not interested in): The first outfit is of my design and how the scene goes in my head canon, is Klain doesn't speak the local language, but when he's put in this outfit, he finds out Suraimu said they're engaged(they're not) which was just a translation error, but Klain doesn't see it that way.🤣

Entry 1

At the moment I'm not entirely sure how the people of Teyvat measure time or indicate their timelines, so I've resorted to what I know. Anyway, I decided to keep a journal of my time on Teyvat, ( I probably should've started this when I got here, oh well). I'll have to back track later.

On the plains of the nation called “Monstadt”, I was investigating a disturbance in the area, tremors or something like it. My investigation led me to a Ley Realm, or what the residence call “Domains”, it was monster infested, they seemed agitated by some kind of energy in there. I had to deal with them to investigate further. The “Domain's” path was riddled with puzzle-like mechanisms, they weren't a challenge. I reached the innermost sanctum of the “Domain” to find a sort of corrupt Excavator Field Tiller, it was slightly smaller than what I'm used to, the people of Teyvat have it easy, "easy" being a relative term. Though this corruption didn't take away its ferocity.

The battle was long but not very exhausting, I figured I might as well learn as much as I could about this condition, but as I was about to end the fight, a giant pheonix took that pleasure, or more accurately, the one who launched the pheonix did, seems like I wasn't the only one interested in the disturbance. I thanked him for his assistance, and seeing as the problem was solved, we went our separate ways.

I recalled some adventurers talking about a city to the north of Monstadt, I hadn't been there so I decided to head there next to expand my map and to rest up. Along the way, I saw a giant tower of a tree, as I went for a closer look, I saw statue next to it. It surged with a rejuvenating energy as I stood next to it and I felt healthy again, as I was intrigued by the statute, I heard a melody coming from behind the tree. I went to check it out, and I saw a... a "bard"? I think that's what they were called. He greeted me... in song. He told me of the tree and the history it carried... in song. I attempted to leave, but he stopped me and asked where I was going, I told him. He told me he was happy to give me a tour of the city, I... agreed, reluctantly.

It was late though, so I suggested we do it tomorrow in the morning. He seemed to have an idea for where I could spend the night, but he insisted we go somewhere to "unwind" first. He showed me to what looked like a café or bar, I entered to find the same man from the Ley Real— Domain behind the counter. He introduced himself as Diluc, and the bard as Venti. Diluc is apparently the owner of a winery, thankfully he serves non-alcoholic drinks, I hate alcohol, Venti doesn't seem to mind it at all, he even ordered one for me before I could say anything.

I realised something about Venti that felted familiar, could it be he's like.... No, I'm probably just homesick, I'm almost starting to actually miss my sister's nagging, almost. I hope she isn't in too much trouble because of me.

I better sign off, I have to get answers.
