Around them, there were people chatting, genuinely enjoying each other’s company. Athletic Kim with nerdy Max, girly Rose with gothic Juleka, the list went on. It was unusual for sure; most of the schools Lila had attended previously contained students that wanted nothing more than to fit in and be like everyone else. But here? Everyone was, indeed, different.

Maybe she could be accepted here someday.

juleka: earth. you’d think rose cause her name is rose but jules would make lots of pretty flowers grow and people would be like “oh, how pretty!” and then she would cut the flower part off. juleka doesnt give a fuck

lila: fire. taranee is telepathic and that would be really useful for someone like lila. plus since water and fire are opposites it sort of fuels the rivalry between her and marinette that would be inherently different without the existence of ladybug
