Albus Potter - 16 - Year 6 - Gryffindor - Open - FC: Skander Keynes

Background:

Albus is sick of hearing 'what is expected of him'. The second Potter son and carrier of the notable green eyes, is nothing like his father. Although Albus is softer-spoken than his two siblings, he's bitter and moody and isn't afraid to voice is opinions. He considers himself a family disappointment, lacking the superior quidditch skills of his grandfather, father and brother and the bravery of Gryffindor. However, he prides himself in his underground connections to dealers and wizard merchants, who he introduces to his cousin Lucy, black market. On the side, he exchanges his original potions with willing buyers, who are set on sending their rivals a strong message. Albus keeps to a close group of friends and family. His friends hardly understand Albus' cold reputation as he's a completely different person with them, warm and witty. 

Foxseekers:

Albus is a little taken aback when he finds the Foxseeker's letter on his bed. He doesn't necessarily find himself above their game, but gets bored of competitions easily. Despite this, he finds himself somewhat drawn to the competition and wonders privately to himself if this is his chance to prove his worth. Albus questions the motives of the Foxseekers, particularly why they chose to include him in their game.

The year is 2022 and Hogwarts is the home to some of the wizarding world’s brightest members. The Ministry of Magic suffers from economic backlash, the Daily Prophet is rumoured to be affiliated with underground dark wizards, but inside the walls of Hogwarts, something far more exciting and dangerous brews. The illustrious Foxseekers are looking for a select five new members. The mysterious Foxseekers have sent out letters to fifty unassuming students. Five students will make it through the trials of the Seekers, will you be one of them? So many unanswered questions, who’s on the list? Who are the Foxseekers and why now?

Scorpius Malfoy - 16 - Year 6 - Ravenclaw - Open - FC: Dane Dehaan

Background:

Scorpius is brilliant. It's what everyone says. The intelligent, cool and collected Scorpius is Hogwarts' new golden boy. People flock towards him, finding his charm and cheek irresistible. There are even rumours that he's part veela. Light-hearted and daring, Scorpius always has some bright idea to pursue or a possible entrepreneurial opportunity. Friends and staff have put bets on Scorpius being lined up to be the next Head Boy, but whenever it's brought up, Scorpius laughs it off, far too modest to acknowledge the truth behind the rumours. As good-hearted as he is, Scorpius' moral compass is sometimes lacking. He uses his prefect position and his trusting exterior to help run the Hogwarts' black market, always on the look out for witchy deals. 

Foxseekers:

More than anything else Scorpius sees his letter from the Foxseekers as business opportunity. He's curious to see what comes out of participating in their game and who's participating in the legendary competition. Scorpius has no doubt that he'll be one of the finalists, but is content with staying on the sidelines and watching other contenders beat each other out before becoming an active participant. He prefers to watch, observe and then act, rather than some his more impulsive friends.

Lucy Weasley - 16 - Year 6 - Slytherin - Taken - FC: Chloe Bennet

Background:

Lucy Weasley is your resident mechanic extraordinaire. Broken remembrall? She can fix it. Lousy broom? She'll add some illegal muggle rocket fuel to help you blast off. She's the cult leader and self-proclaimed founder of the black market of rare muggle objects and forbidden goods at Hogwarts. People are often surprised to learn that the easy-going and quippy pun-making mechanic is a Slytherin. Lucy takes advantage of her unassuming peers and often pins the blame of her illegal activities onto others. 

Foxseekers:

Lucy, like everyone else, has heard of the legendary Foxseekers. During her second year at Hogwarts she spent a good two months of sleepless nights crawling the halls of Hogwarts with Lorcan Scamander searching for their meeting place. She's surprised to learn that the Foxseekers are looking for new members, but isn't surprised when she finds their letter peeking out of her charms book one day after class. Lucy is determined to be one of five and is willing to risk it all for a coveted place within the circle of Foxseekers. 

Relationships:

Molly Weasley: She has a close-knit relationship with her sister despite their differences. Lucy has a nasty habit of breaking Molly's studious focus with the loud 'clanks' and 'clinks' of her tinkering habits. She's fiercely protective of her older sister, who's somewhat softer nature has at times called unwanted attention from bored girls and boys. 

Percy Weasley: She and her father have had their fair share of fights. During the holidays with no one to blame, Lucy's illegal use of magic and prohibited goods has put her in trouble with the Ministry several times. Her father finds it difficult to communicate with his extroverted daughter who is nothing like him and everything like her dragonologist mother. Likewise, Lucy rarely speaks to her father, and while it's not a bitter or hateful relationship, it's certainly difficult. 

Lorcan Scamander: Best friends since first-year, the two have been inseparable since their conundrum with accidentally destroying Professor Longbottom's treasured multi-coloured and acid spraying tulip garden. Lorcan's prefect position often helps with their misadventures, where Lucy drags stubborn and neurotic Lorcan around to look for new things to tinker with and explode. She likes him more than she'd care to admit, but pushes any bubbling feelings away. 

Dominique Weasley: Dominique and Lucy have been best friends since birth. Dom's snarky and reckless behaviour coupled with Lucy's unpredictable shenanigans is sometimes too much for the rest of their group of friends to handle. Their strong personalities sometimes clash, leading to vocal arguments and days of silence, but they always manage to come back together. The two girls are deeply loyal and protective of each other and find no difficulty in making the lives of those they dislike a living hell.
