I find it really interesting to see how Ambrose behaves when he’s in Hell and towards Lilith in general. When he’s just amazed at being in Hell, he’s very pure in that amazement, and we see Lilith purse her lips in amusement and shake her head; she clearly has no negative feelings towards him. They don’t look at each other as enemies or challengers.
And then he actually listens to Lilith, when she says ‘They’re not Hell’s gifts, they’re Lucifer’s. They come from within him, they originate with him’, he totally takes in what she’s saying, he nods excitedly and says ‘That makes perfect sense’, and even sits down as if to get into a full conversation with Lilith. We’ve seen that he’s quite academic and we can presume he would enjoy a healthy debate about Hell and magical origins etc, and here he is with someone who has more knowledge than all the books in the Academy combined, and he looks so excited by it.
And when Lilith gives him a look for sitting on her stuff, he immediately gets up, and it’s more an ‘oops, sorry’ than reacting out of fear or threat. He looks at Lilith attentively throughout the conversation, he’s engaged in the entire thing.
And then when he finds out, in the final episode, that Sabrina has created two of herself, he says ‘Lilith notices everything’ stating that Lilith is never going to be fooled; he knows how how observant and smart she is, he respects her abilities.
It’s interesting because it’s so different to Sabrina who always looks at her with challenge in her eyes, she often speaks to her with entitlement or indignation, I mean even in the scene with Ambrose, Sabrina walks in with a more demanding nature, telling Lilith they need answers, whereas Ambrose comes from a place of respect and passion for learning. And I think this shows that Sabrina’s behaviour is not upbringing, as she was raised by the Aunts just as Ambrose was, it’s the Morningstar in her. Lucifer demands, Lucifer is entitled and Lucifer expects Lilith to answer rather than requesting it, and it’s just seeing how differently Ambrose and Sabrina behave in that scene shows the difference of Spellman vs Morningstar.
Mmmm, I think to a degree it’s the Morningstar in her, but remember, Hilda left to raise Ambrose in England, so most of his early influence comes from her; since she raised Ambrose, Zelda insisted she be Sabrina’s main point of influence growing up as Hilda was “too soft” with Ambrose. I do see a lot of Zelda in Sabrina. She’s very much her “mother’s daughter”.
I’d argue that Sabrina’s attitude is more Zelda’s influence mixed with the Morningstar genes vs. soley from the Morningstar genes themselves.
(Please don’t think this is Zelda hate, I love Zelda, she’s just a very damaged person with some super unhealthy coping mechanisms and ideals/morals.)
Or you know, it might have something to do with Ambrose being over a century old while Sabrina is literally a teenager and being rebellious, like most teens.
But noooo, let’s automatically jump to her being JuSt aS bAd As HeR FaThEr because she has the *gasp* audacity not to act perfectly polite to someone who’s literally tried to murder her twice.
I repeat, TRIED TO MURDER HER TWICE (and her friends too) But apparently Sabrina is the bad guy for showing a bit of a bad attitude.

Why are you even here? I legit said it’s a Morningstar thing to demand, which Sabrina does with everyone not just Lilith, I just used this scene as an example. She behaved exactly the same when she thought she was Ms Wardwell. And then Alexusonfire added that it’s also due to Zelda raising her. Like no one said she was bad as lucifer? But the entire show constantly and purposefully displays ways she is like Lucifer? That’s actually what they show. There are outright parallel scenes written to be mirror images. But, regardless, if you don’t like a post just bloody ignore it
