A man of conscience is one who never acquires tolerance, well being, success, public standing, and approval on the part of prevailing opinion, at the expense of truth.

How it Feels to be Crazy
Create a metaphorical door. On the other side, there’s an ear pressed against it, anxiously awaiting movement.
Be happy, live, and love your life.
Feel beyond that door not only great judgement, but insecurity, fear…
You take a shit, make love, muse, and breathe.
*Cough, ahem* For every one of these things.
No matter how hard you try, you find it impossible to remain impartial to this ear that anxiously awaits your next move: to judge, to cough, to be afraid.
You find that this ear follows you as you move past the door.
As you move across a window, the ear retreats. You feel successful.
As the window ends, the ear is back at it! Where do you turn? This hallway is endless. You live in this hallway.
This is my insanity.
Go into public, and this insanity follows you because people see that you, too, have become insane.
Claustrophobia becomes inevitable.
But every now and then, you realize that this hallway is ceilingless. You have wings, and you can fly.
Arrows from below fly at you. People hate you for flying; they want to kill you. You are struck, and hastily fly back to safety. Here, despite the ‘ear,’ you rest. You fall asleep, knowing that in this land beyond reality often you are safe, loved, and connected beyond everything in this world. - I live this way every day living my dreams. I wonder if it will ever end, or will it end me? Those that do not understand join the ridicule, and those that do remain silent

El aliento del país reuinido de los fuegos, cocciones, y lagrimas de la tierra crea un incienso muy único para los que lo sienten.

Where have I been?
All this time...
I stand before you now,
As three bodies collide.
Some ideas are so stupid that only intellectuals believe them.

Yesterday I received an invitation to submit my opinions to The Architect’s Newspaper for a piece about the upcoming Chicago Architecture Biennial. This Risograph print, made from the email I received and my complete response, will now function as a statement regarding the Biennial. Copies of this print will be sent out for free with any mail orders of Hardcore Architecture publications, and it will be available at the next exhibition of the project at The Outhaus in Urbana, Illinois on October 3rd. The Senior Editor that contacted me from The Architect’s Newspaper asked to have their name withheld. Ultimately it doesn’t really matter who asked these questions. What matters is that they are the wrong questions to ask.
Damn, well done.
