I apologize greatly for not being active at all for the past few weeks. A lot of changes have been happening in my life lately, good and bad. But more recently things have cleared up and I now have the time to focus on getting this blog backup and running again. My replies from now on might be slightly late/delayed, only because I would like to take my time with replies to make sure they are decent and well-written. But, I am returning and I hope I can plot or start a thread with one of you soon. Again, sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for putting up with me :-)

She most likely took that the wrong way, but she shook it off. She understood that he wasn’t as emotional as she was when it came to stuff like this. After all, it was her fault she was dead. Even if he did try to save her. This was what she had wanted right?

She shakes her head as she sighs, “I don’t know. I don’t know but I’m- I’m just so scared.”

      “   WELL— i got a feeling you’re           not in much of the mood to talk about it.   ”               He’s never had the best patience, that Langdon.

        Instantly he feels remorse for the words —     WHY CAN’T YOU EVER JUST HELP?         & he reaches forward to catch her in yet another hug,         a soft whisper forming—-                         “   -— and that’s okay sometimes.   ”

he’s never been one for emotions, likely they’re not his own.     But his embrace has never been warmer,     touch never softer. She’s OH-SO-FRAGILE     in his eyes, emotions held in for too long,     damaging herself for the sake of others.

With tears staining his sweatshirt, she wiped her eyes. She was mad at calming herself down; he made it easier to do. He made everything easier for her. He even made death seem not so bad. "Were you scared- when you realized you died?"

"You shouldn't be thinking like that," she said concernedly. "I enjoy your company, okay?"

The heart-breaking sound of her sobbing and sniffling became all the more worse. She gasped for breath, her fingers grasping onto his cotton sweater for some kind of comfort. "I- I'm scared, Tate." Her words were shaky and muttered into his ear, "I'm terrified."

Grin  appears upon face shoved in the darkness.  Had a hard time remembering his own dreams too.  “Spill it out, anything is valid.”

"It was sort of scary to be completely honest with you. I was being followed but no one was there. But I heard multiple people speaking to me all at once which was confusing. I couldn't understand them at all."

‘   well, duh. why do you think i’m here, honey?   ‘

They crossed their arms over their chest, a scoffing noise slipping past inked lips. They raised a faux eyebrow at the girl. Death was certain this girl was close to death, or at least surrounded by it constantly. It was their job, to be around death and for now, that’s what she was surrounded by.

‘   now, do you think you’re some kind of god?   ‘   They asked this in a sarcastic tone, a grin appearing on inked lips.

"You've completely dodged my question; how did you get into my house?" Rising up from the bed, she sets her book down, slowly stepping towards them. "Do you think this is some kind of joke? And no- I don't."

Quickly plopped down onto the matress, Violet as guide. Hadn’t any ideas  on top of if mind for a chit chat, though. “Yes, i would like that. So…. interesting dreams?”

Her arms wrapped around his torso loosely, small hands curled around his hips. She thought for a moment, trying to remember any of her dreams. Knowing he couldn't, she told him about them every so often. "There's one I remember, not anything mind-blowing though."

He could sense she was startled; it amazed him that Violet was so predictable really. Lips part in a grin before answering. “I don’t know - probably really late.” All the response she would get to the push was a tongue out, in the dark. “Sure - if i manage to sleep.” Small squeeze at her hand.

Violet scooted over onto the other side of the bed, making room for him, her hands guiding him onto the mattress in the dark. "You don't have to sleep. Now that you're here, I want you to stay. We could just talk for a while if you want."

‘   oh, sounds interesting. is it a romantic comedy? ‘cause i love those. really tug at the heart strings.  ‘   They patted their own chest. As if they had a beating heart, there was nothing there. How sad. Nonetheless, they continued to stay there, darkened sockets blinking slowly.   ‘   i’m here ‘cause you’re gonna die. i’m just waitin’ until it happens.   ‘

"No- it's not." The words she spoke were cold until she was informed of her death. "I might be suicidal but how the fuck would you know if I'm going to go through with it or not? Do you think you're some kind of God?" She scoffed with a smirk curled on her chaped lips.

‘   hm, let me think about it.   ‘    Death stood at the open doorway, one inked hand holding the frame of the door while the rest of their body leaned against the frame. They looked to the ceiling with a quizzical expression on their face, as if they were thinking about doing such a thing. But obviously they were not going to do that. In laymen terms, fuck that.

‘   what are you reading?   ‘

 She was not impressed, and her patience was slowly breaking. Frail fingers clenched the paperback tightly as she chewed on her lower lip. Eventually, she moved her gaze upward rather quickly to look at who was at the door since the voice certainly wasn’t Tate’s or Randall’s. “It’s called who the fuck are you and how did you get in my fucking house.”

    “Totally.      You didn’t know?” 

  His thin eyebrow quirks up with a sly grin. 

    “So,      you would gladly live in a morgue?”

 Her eyes roll. “Oh shut up. It’s not our fault the real-estate agent didn’t tell us the history of the house.”

    “You’re not very convincing, Violet.”

“Yes I am. You’re just hard to convince.”

  Parting away, his round eyes squint   when he grins ear to ear. 

    “I don’t know,      you need to confirm it      to where I believe you.”
