{ He tensed alittle, but stood there. Mostly because he’s waiting to see if the alternate would go further than just that. }
[He did go just a little bit farther. He pressed his hand in, tilting his head at the way it moved.]

{ He tensed alittle, but stood there. Mostly because he’s waiting to see if the alternate would go further than just that. }
[He did go just a little bit farther. He pressed his hand in, tilting his head at the way it moved.]
"I’m glad you think so."
Yes. I do.
[His resolve has broken. He rests a flat palm on the other's gut.]
"Oh. it was red?"
Yes. No reason to be ashamed, alternate. It was rather... cute.
"I’m glad you think so."
Yes, I do. Why has your face turned red?
"I did kinda eat a huge meal recently."
I see... you wear it very well.
"Oh yeah… I’ve kinda been silent for awhile. Sorry about that."
Don't worry about it kid.
You seem... well fed. A little more than I remember seeing last time.
"… Did you need something?"
{I want to touch your jiggly middle.}
Nothing. I was just... checking up on you.
fragmentedanomaly replied to your post: “…. What’s going on..?”
[stares]
{ Stares back. }
Hey.
[Don't touch. Whatever you do, don't touch.]
That response didn’t surprise her at all. She’d grown used to the hedgehog’s less-than-enthusiastic nature when it came to conversation.
"How have you been fairing?"
I'm still breathing. Not sure why.
[A short response, as always. He was a far cry from his old, talkative self. All he felt now was apathy. Under that was the resentment, and self hatred.]
I see that you are too.
Blaze ever so gracefully jumped over that statement and right to the point.
"It’s been a while since I’ve seen you."
Okay?
[Silver wasn't sure what else to say. He hadn't really cared all that much.]
fragmentedanomaly liked your post:"It is far too hot out.”
It is not that hot out.
Maybe. But I rather not try it out right now. { Or at all in his case. There was no way he was going to let himself adjust, not like this anyway. He doesn’t quite know of the alternate enough to be that comfortable around him. }
You seem to come around here often. { He mentioned, deciding there to be a subject change. } Looking for something?
No.
[A simple answer for a simple question. He wasn't looking for something, but for someone, whom he had found. Silver had simply felt like catching a glimpse of his alternate's body again. It was reference for potential sculptures, and paintings.]
I have no reason. No cause. I only exist, to exist.
{ The white hedgehog lightly shook his head. }
I… actually don’t mind you putting your hands there, so long as you don’t rub or prod. { It’ll still leave him a blushing mess but it’s not as bad as when people start feeling him there. It felt really odd to him when it was like that. Hopefully the grey hedgehog would understand. While yes, it was nice to feel some pleasure… but what he was feeling didn’t seem at all appropriate to him. }
When you feel it like that, it just… feels too weird. Like it’s not right. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t wanna feel that.
Perhaps it is a sensation you are simply not used to feeling. If such is the case, you would require to feel more of it before you could adjust. Either way, it does not matter to me.
[A light tilt of the head. Yes, it was a fascinating substance, but he would never do something that made someone uncomfortable. Not unless they were a blue hedgehog, of course. Then they deserved every bit of discomfort they got.]
{ Heat rushed to his face as he felt the hands on his midsection, but somewhat thankful that the alternate didn’t go any further than that aside from light rubbing. Even still, it rose a sensation in him that he didn’t want at all because he felt guilty. Some pleasure was fine, but this was the kind of thing he knew was very inappropriate.
Silver moved his hands to gently grip the grey hedgehog’s wrists, but not to remove his hands. He wanted to make sure that it was all the rugged hedgehog was doing and nothing more. }
Nn… O-okay.
Hm?
[He looked down at the hands gripping his wrists. Ears swiveled at his alternate's tone. Doing this, while it provided what he wanted. It satisfied his wonderment, it... wasn't very considerate. Normally, he wouldn't care. In a way, he still didn't. But he had softened up a little to this alternate. He had seen Silver angry, and hadn't used it against him like the blue hedgehog did.]
I am sorry, alternate.
[Was that an apology? Indeed, it was. Silver apologized, removing his hands from the other's body. To hold consideration for someone else was difficult. Unless given a more direct reason, Silver couldn't find it in himself to care.]
I will be more careful from now on.
Memories can be bad at times, they can reflect scars that may not heal. But the only way is to make new memories, it may just numb the pain. Healing them is also up to you. A person can guide you, but they wont mend your pain unless you choose to.
{ He just smiled a little at his alternate. Despite how naive he can be and as well as very cheerful, he had experienced things that had opened his eyes. Silver knew what it’s like to have painful memories that he couldn’t escape, but perhaps the seriousness of their pain is different. }
They just haven’t gone through what I have. I know the pain of the past as much as you do, but I chose not to let them command my path… Even though I wish to amend it.
[What did someone do when they felt as though they didn't deserve the right to make new memories? As though their actions were unforgivable. That was how he felt. But he couldn't say it. Silver didn't want the attention directed on himself anymore than it had to be. These were words he would ponder when he was alone.
Instead, he put both hands on either side of his alternate's midsection. He really wanted to feel it again. That fascinating sensation of soft flesh. But he didn't do anything other than that. There was no prodding this time, although maybe a little rubbing.]
It looks slightly different when you are standing up, alternate. I will take your words under slight consideration.
{ The white hedgehog’s stare was direct, he was very stern and passionate about this even though he was sincere. }
What is the point? Memories, Silver. What you leave behind, what you do. You can’t just die without looking back and seeing all you’ve done before you pass on. People think about how their lives went… and then they think “I believe I have lived my life. It’s time for me to go to the next one.”
Everyone deserves peace, no matter who they are. So what if you believe life is pointless? You’re wrong. Life is precious. But it is also in an unending cycle that no one can escape from. We live, we die. But we don’t simply fade away.
[As much as he would have preferred to deny it, there wasn't really a way to. It was true, that memories were powerful experiences. They were something that, to this day, haunted Silver. He didn't know how to respond, so he remained silent for a little while.]
I would prefer it if memories did not exist. They are nothing more than annoying little reminders of your past mistakes. What good does that do for anyone? There are some things that are better left forgotten.
You are strange, alternate. You have an incredibly fascinating body, and a mind that is almost equally as fascinating. I have asked such a question on more than one occasion, but none have given me such a detailed answer before now.
Slade is different.. But maybe one day he would. It doesn’t mean he wont feel great pain. Everyone feels pain.
{ He glanced at the alternate with a mixture of concern and sadness. }
But life isn’t pointless. Sure, we all will die, but our lives aren’t in vain. It’s important to live your life, not kill it.
It does not matter how different he may be. There is no such thing as an immortal. Even those who are very powerful, or these Shadow alternates I have heard of, that are ageless. All can, and will be killed one day. It is only a matter of time.
[Silver's eye ridge raised at his alternate's statement. He considered it stupid, honestly.]
You are wrong. There is no point to life. We wander for a short period of time, and then, we sleep, and never wake up. What is the point to that, alternate?
