My favorite….well, you know ;-)
Artists, authors, performers and others stepped down from the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities after Mr. Trump’s remarks about white nationalists.
Proud of JLY and his fellow committee members for taking a stand - respect, admiration and gratitude.

Happy Birthday to the one and only John Lloyd Young! So appropriate that he was born on the 4th of July…as he continues to make a difference with #TurnaroundArts and so many other important organizations, and he is an inspiration both on stage and off. May this year ahead be the best ever… :o)
My personal favorite of the night. Thanks JLY & company!!
My favorite Tony Award winner, John Lloyd Young.
Grateful as always to be able to hear him perform. And in my happy place when I can take photos of him singing :-)
More photos to come….
So grateful to have another opportunity to hear my favorite Tony Award winner perform the other night. Here are some photos for your viewing pleasure ;-)

JLYs blog.
One of my very favorite blogs was deactivated yesterday and although I’m not surprised given the magnitude of cyber harassment and assumptions, I’m saddened. I’m saddened that a blog I very much appreciated for the great humor, esoteric and thought provoking content that likely helped thousands of people who were quietly struggling - is now gone. I don’t post under my real name, but he did, and I think it took an enormous amount of courage to spill his thoughts - hope he someday writes a book of poetry to share with the world. 🙏🏻
I’m a little late sharing my thoughts on this, but I share your sentiments. I truly hope being off social media completely gives him the peace of mind and privacy he deserves. I’ll miss his way of showing us how to see things differently and opening our minds to new things. I wish him nothing but the best!!

Ok so
I have a disease where my body produces cells that grow in the wrong place. They grow on my bowels and intestines. This causes severe pain, chronic fatigue, dizziness and lightheartedness, infertility, hormonal issues, and other symptoms that impact my life on a daily basis.
In just that context it sounds serious.
But when I give it condition its proper name–endometriosis–people roll their eyes. People say “oh it’s just a period, everyone with a uterus has to deal with periods, periods suck, toughen up.” People insult me when I say I can’t get out of bed I can’t stand up or keep food down or function.
Endometriosis is serious. It’s debilitating. It’s not just “a bad period.” Please don’t make people with endometriosis feel like they have to justify their symptoms. Please understand the awful reality of this condition
