I’ve been to Taiwan so many times since I was a kid. I’d always visit my Angkong (Grandpa) and Ama (Grandma) all the time. But the thing is I barely see Taiwan. I was always crammed up in my relatives’ house in Linkou, which is an hour away from Taipei. Can I just say how this was in my Bucket list literally last 2016 and I just couldn’t believe I actually went there last December of 2017. Of course it’s for work but hey! I went there and it’s just all too surreal for me. 1st off, Let me start by telling you something about Petra that I learned from the internet because I was too busy tending to my group whilst being amazed and taking photos at the same time.
What is Petra?
Petra also called the Rose City is the capital of Nabataean Kingdom, The city housed nomad arabs from the 4th Century. It also developed as a trading city that attracts their neighbors for their wealth. When you go there you will actually see Tombs, Houses and among others. Now the city is abandoned and open to tourist to roam around in.
The Treasury
Going to the treasury you’d need to walk for 30min and it’s all worth it. The magnificent view of the formations are just breath taking. You’d really enjoy just being there. Then when you finally get a peak of the treasury. Well excitement just seems to build up in you again.
If you don’t want to walk there is also an option of riding a carriage or a horse. Although it has additional charges.
Things I learned after Petra
A kid with postcards might just gives you a random postcard and asks you for money. When I say give he just insist on giving it to you without anything in return or just simply slipping it by your arm so he’s not holding it anymore. This is usually he’s strategy and you now you have to pay for the postcard but Just give the post card back. This boy got me paying for postcards I didn’t even want. Lesson Learned.
Check out the tours for Petra for safety and comfortability. If you’re girl traveling alone to Petra make sure to keep an eye on reputable travel agents or awesome guides. Just make sure you won’t get charmed along the way.
Good running shoes, bottled water and a cap goes a long way. This is a very long walk. It’s always good to keep hydrated and comfy while you are here.
The Guards by the Siq or other photographed people charges you. After taking photos of the guards they actually ask for tips. You don’t even have a chance to say no since you already took the photo. (Well I said no cuz I literally have no money with me unless they would take Philippine Peso as their tip.)
Well overall this place is beautiful. I would also like to visit it at night just when they had candle lit all over The Treasury during Monday and Thursday.
To give you some idea of it. If you been to the Grand Canyon, The Petra is like that but inside the Grand Canyon.

I went to Osaka last October for my trip with JNTO. We used Philippine Airlines and I have to say I was shooked. I wasn’t expecting new monitors and usb chargers. Anyway here is my review summary of the aircraft. I will be dividing it with service, comfort, in flight entertainment, and food.
Service and Flight Experience
For their service I have to say I didn’t talk to the stewardess a lot. I didn’t actually ask for anything else other than I want Pasta and beef, so I cannot comment how fast they are in terms of personal needs when ringing the button for service.
But in terms of how they present themselves everything is A-Okay. They were very friendly and the flight going to Kansai Int’l Airport was smooth and carefree. The pilot did a good job landing us safely.
Comfort
They have ready pillows and blankets for you to be more comfortable with your flight. There is also a good amount of leg room for a small girl like me. So if you plan on sleeping in the flight there won’t be a problem.
Also did I mention that I was in the back end of the first zone. Meaning I could lean my chair all the way through also it’s near the bathroom so that’s a plus
P.S. I did not use the toilet for my trip here so I can’t comment on toilets either.
Food
The food was also different. I’ve been flying with PAL a lot last year to early april this year. And I’ve memorized their food menu and what to pick. I always pick alaking because it’s good but this time around there are different choices in the menu and I’ve chosen pasta with beef. It was delicious and I’ve finished everything!
In Flight Entertainment
This is always a mega plus for me. I love watching movies up above the clouds and catching up with what’s showing in the theaters. It’s awesome that they have movies now and some tagalog ones are also available!
In conclusion.
Pal is awesome and will fly again. surely the heart of the Filipinos shining through.

Something I’ll never get.
There are stuff that you won’t get in life. Maybe that house you’ve always wanted, Maybe that girl you’ve been staring at for 6-8 months, Maybe that job you’ve been dreaming of since you were a kdi. It’s normal. That’s life and that’s how it goes. You don’t just get everything in life. Life would be boring.
Well me I also don’t get a lot of things in life. Yeah, maybe I should be a go getter and just maybe if i do it just right, the chance of getting that particular thing would get higher. what a fuckin easy solution right. just do it. Just Fuckin Do It.
But what if, what if i’m just fed up. I just don’t see the point in getting it. For me you see the thing I won’t and might never get is a praise. A simple praise from someone very important in my life. Maybe it’s asian parenting but yeah well that parenting sucks. I never had that praise. Maybe i got it while singing the ABC when i was a kid but now. well for you guys i’m a good for nothing person that you happen to made. So yeah. I’ve stopped. I’ve stopped pleasing you. I’m just tired and I’ll just live my life the way I am. Tell me I’m lazy, Good for Nothing, Piece of Sh*t. I just don’t care anymore.
I’m just tired of pleasing you instead i’ll just please myself. Make myself grow. If I don’t want to adult let me be. I might sound very selfish and snob and ungrateful but what the hell.

We were playing that trailer game you made up, The one where you name the trailer and whoever names it first gets the point. I was losing and needed to up my game.
The next trailer opened up you immediately said Civil War and then I heard the music, it’s the music same with Finding Nemo and then I got it, I got the point. It was Finding Dory, I was so happy to finally have a point.
Then something happened when I glanced at you. You were still and smiling while looking at me. At that moment I know you wanted to kiss me, It’s that moment in a movie where the slow motion happens. The thoughts on my mind were...
“is he gonna kiss me?”, “Should I give in?”...............
I didn’t, I didn’t gave in. I laughed and quickly looked back at the screen. I didn’t gave in because I ain’t givin it easy. Sure he’s my boyfriend but what’s the fun if you’re not gonna tease with your special someone.
Wanderlust Got Me.
I’m on the verge of breaking my bank account and throwing everything away. During this time of year I’m always gonna be spotted checking out promos and how to survive in some random country/place on a budget.
Right now I’m thinking of doing other things for money, you know like freelance. for now here are the Top 5 Things I’m Willing To Do for Money:
Bake some goods, hey I can bake some pretty mean cupcakes and brownies. although i hate transferring them to clients.
Will design for money. Come on, give me a chance maybe I’m good for this.
Will take photos/video for money. Yep, My old part time work. Where you at. I also edit videos!
Will taste food for money. I hope I get this one.
Will give your baby a unique name for money. For example TOMLR.
Descent Place of Storage.
I have been watching youtube a lot and I’ve been watching Casey Neistat alot. like a lot a lot, For some of you guy that might’ve known him. You’d know he’s reconstructing his studio now and the reason for this is productivity.
And I see that he has a point. I would want to work in an area where things makes a lot of sense. I would like to work on an area where it’s organize but at the same time cluttered but not to the point where it will be a pain in the ass to look at.
It is ideal to have a pinterest worth working area with a lot of function and not just the working area, I figured same goes with my sleeping quarters and I’m gonna start with the shelf below, this Sunday (I hope)
I am hoping to take organize my books and take out things i don’t need. Also I see papers that I might not need. Maybe I’ll make a DIY shelf over my bed and be super productive this coming sunday. IDK, I hope my mood won’t change.
SUNDAYS//
Sundays are special to me. It’s just that day where it’s suppose to be okay that you don’t got your shit together. It’s okay to not put make up on and just wear pajamas. It’s okay if you eat shit because you’ll just exercise a fuck ton tomorrow. It’s okay to binge watch that movie or series you’d been too busy to watch. It’s just you’re own special free day to do whatever the heck you feel like doin.
Now don’t get me wrong, If you feelin like want to clean your room and keep your shit together like a responsible person, you can do so because it’s you’re free day. Be Happy, Do Whatever you want but I’m just sayin I’m savin my responsible shit for mondays.
So stop complainin that I look hella lazy or that I’ve never accomplish anythin on sundays. It’s just that I’d rather have my let loose time to refresh rather than bein so up tight until i blow and say fuck you to everyone.
