Forrest scoffed, and then deadpanned, âItâs time for you to get a watch.â A pause. âKidding, kidding. Itâs half past three. Or thirty minutes over 3.â
Francesca widened her eyes at the boyâs reply out of guilt for being a burden until she realized he was kidding. âRight,â she chuckled, âThanks.â Francesca sat up in her seat before asking again, âOne more question before Iâm done bothering you, do you know where the nearest coffee shop is?âÂ
âyeah i do, its almost 10. why are you taking the bus? i can take where you need to go before my shift at the barâ bash told her. he didnât like the idea of her riding the bus, his sister would never let him live it down.Â
âI donât want to be a burden,â Francesca said with a shrug. Truth be told, she just didnât want Bash to find out the couch she was crashing on, and especially that tonight was her last night of being allowed to crash there. âHow about I just come to work with you, show you my fake ID, you keep the mojitos coming, and Iâll tip you big?â She said with raised brows and a smile. âWe can talk about anything you want, as long as itâs not our personal lives,â she tempted. Although, she couldnât be blamed if a few drinks in that offer expired.
Dylan nodded, raising an eyebrow slight at the other girl after her later comment. Â âOr instead of getting possible jail time or fines you could just get a cute older guy to buy you a drink or whatever you need.â Â She explained, shrugging. Â âItâs not that hard.â
Francesca shrugged. âMay work for you, but Iâm not all that interested in relying on men for- well, anything. Especially something that theyâre going to assume means a ticket to my pants. Not worth the hassle. Besides, cute older guys canât buy me two buck chucks for my wine nights unless I have one on speed dial.â
brows perk upward in surprise at the sudden offer, not entirely being something sunny had expected. her father had always warned her to be careful of strangers, but the female seemed harmlessâ- plus, she had a point. it was likely best for the two girls to stick together at this time of the evening rather than apart. âthat sounds really nice, actually.â eventually the blonde pipes up, lips curling upward. âitâs probably best we stick together, as you said itâs getting dark, who knows what lurks.âÂ
Francesca couldnât help but to grin at the girlâs response. âReally?â She asked with lifted brows, shocked yet pleased with the answer of a yes; although, is wasnât a genuine question. âYouâre basically my knight in shining armor except more like my sister savior in normal clothes,â Francesca said with a small chuckle. âWell, I guess two things come next. One, what are you in the mood for? And two, Iâm Francesca,â she said sticking her hand out for a shake.
âoh, of course!â the petite blonde responds, twisting her frame to search the small bag propped on the bench beside her; nimble fingers working away until she pulls out her device. âsix forty-three,â hazel gaze returning back to the dark haired female.Â
âThanks,â she said rather quietly. Francesca sat for a moment longer, her hunger taking over her entirely, even her thoughts. Shifting her body weight, Francesca faced the girl on the bench, âWould you want to get a bite to eat with me? I know itâs weird and all, but itâs almost dark and Iâm famished, and I really hate being out at night alone. You never know what lurks, and you look like a friendly face...â She let her voice trail off in waits for a reply.
Brynn looked from the girl to her watch and then back to the girl, before offering her a small smile. Â âFour Thirty. Â The bus should be here soon, but more than not it runs late.â
Francesca nodded, âThanks. Iâve noticed that.â She laughed lightly and added, âThis is a pretty sleepy town. Things certainly move a lot slower than they do in New York.â
Dylan let out a sigh, before holding her hand out to take the card.  âIf you have to ask, doesnât that sort of answer your question?â  She remarked, before looking at the ID.  âI meanâŠitâs fine I guess.â
Francesca pondered the girlâs words for a moment, thinking she actually might be right, but offered a small smile when she decided to check it out. âThanks,â she said handing it over. Francesca pressed her lips together at the reply as she took the card back, âThat doesnât help me much, but I guess all I can do is try, right?â
âMe?â Francesca asked with slight confusion. âNo, I swear, I guess we just happened to be walking the same way for quite awhile.â She let a slight chuckle out and shrugged. âI didnât mean to scare you.â
Dylan pursed her lips as the other spoke. Â Her arms crossed over her chest as she raised her eyebrows slightly at the comment. Â âThat has got to be the stupid thing Iâve heard all day.â
âReally?â Francesca asked with furrowed brows. âI just wanted to be sure this fake is passable. Could you please just give me an honest opinion?â
hi, itâs seven again :) here is Francesca, but unfortunately she doesnât have her bio written yet, so i put the key points under the cut. message me if you want to plot with her!
-From New York City, Francesca is 18. She grew up in Manhattan, living the life of the lavish from a lower-middle class family.Â
-Although she went to an expensive private school, it was on a academic scholarship, and Francesca spent her high school life playing the role of being from the Upper East Side as to not be bullied for not coming from money.
-When Francesca was a senior she began to have an affair with an English teacher at the school. He was 23 and she a consenting adult, so Francesca never thought the consequences would be as bad as they were.
-Upon their discovery, her parents were so disappointed that she was kicked out of her home, and she went to live with the teacher, Mr. Bloome. However, when her parents welcomed her back home and they found out where she was living, they went to the school with the news. Mr. Bloome was fired, Francesca was expelled. Shortly after, Mr. Bloome dumped Francesca and moved away.
-With no where to go and a heart completely broken, Francesca took her car and a few essentials before moving to Cape Cod. When she first arrived she was couch crashing with a friend, paying rent by working odd jobs. But since she wasnât able to graduate, she wasnât able to find any jobs that were permanent.
-Now, Francesca is looking for a job that doesnât require and high school degree and a home that is affordable in rent.Â
-Overall: Francesca is friendly, sensitive, a good friend, and loving. But she is also shy, guarded, manipulative, and a compulsive liar.
