been thinking about how often carme drops in on the celestials unannounced …and moon who never bats an eye at this… (old doodle)

taking it and running with a hc🏃‍♀️

carme who’s bored and has nothing in his schedule, portaling to moons room and waiting patiently in the dark until he’s off work. he doesn’t like being alone with his thoughts so he buries himself in the covers and naps to make time go by faster (weirdo😭/silly).

the implication of discipling animals from carme’s comment in today’s episode…

“you could just pull on its fur”

“it’s discipline”

“it will learn not to do bad things”

animals in the circus have a history of cruelty and exploitation. its included in many circus themed medias and i wouldn’t be surprised if thats the case here and animals were treated the same way in carmines home dimension.

now i doubt carme himself agrees with harming animals. it might’ve been the norm and he had been conditioned to see it as necessary in his environment, as a means of survival and the structure his life was built on (it’s sort of the way a child can be conditioned to have immoral beliefs built upon them by their authority). perhaps carme was tied to the circus and lived a pretty sheltered life or it’s based on differing dimensional rules.

carme seems to be unaware about some of the world outside of his dimension (i’ve noticed in dahlia too) i wonder if besides the circus, the only place where carme has spent most of his time has been in moon haven, and what other little is spent in other dimensions for missions sake. which wouldn’t open his eyes to much. makes me wanna know the in-between, from post-circus fire to meeting moon [quirky and i calling it “the adjustment period” ™️]. +potentially not being familiar with domesticated animals pre-fire idk. i find all of this very interesting.

waiting for that inevitable breaking point carme reaches🕊️

these two beyond the ship, have a deep connection to one another. their bond even though it’s at its earliest, still has much time to blossom. so much to understand about each other. importantly, so much moon does not know about carme.

the moment it’s carme’s time to vulnerable with moon, i’d like to think of how it would be handled. 🗣️

carme presents himself as a put together almost picture perfect moon, enough to be seen as disparate from his variants.

moon, as we know, is not the most intelligent on an emotional level. he’s a constant work in progress with determination to change, but he’s still very flawed and especially naive.

he might fully believe carme to be that exact vision he tries to display. mostly because carme does not give any opportunity to believe otherwise.

so, however it plays out, might moon be genuinely suprised if not slightly doubtful learning of carme’s sorrows? moon possibly puts carme on a pedestal unknowingly. he refers to carme as an “interesting individual” and pushes his interest for his character because of his subconscious drawn to carme.

understanding his counterpart, at least to me, would bring not only huge growth for carme’s character but as well as moon’s.

moon begins to realize that not everything is as black and white as he makes it out to be. everything carme has taught him or encouraged him to concider could come back to him all once.

anger for the consideration that someone could even treat carme so badly, the only moon he considers to be pleasent. someone he might be quick to defend without knowing the full story and knowing a side of carme that can be just as hurtful as his oppressors.

guilt for the way he preaches “all moons are the same.” his negative perceptions of himself bleed into other moons and of course, carme. he believes carme to be different or even above other moons without considering that carme at his core is still a moon. even if carme does not believe the notion, self loathing is continuous between them all. fears developed of if moon would view him to be just as bad as everyone else if moon knew what he’s done.

emphasizing that in this moment, what matters is carme and his pain. they are not so different as they might think. if anything they are exactly what the other needs. someone who has been at that low point and has grown from it. someone who moves for change and willing to try to live, to try and love.

assuring carme that nothing would change between them, because how could he ever hate him?

carme has done so much for moon, i’m sure moon would want to return to favor.

absolutely adorable to see moon worried about carme. i wanted to sketch this out better, but im tired and i need to draw manspread carme next.

the way carme was trembling and the camera focused enough of his hands (with a pause) i feel that if moon has body tracking he would’ve been holding them, holding carme steady.

i feel like the difference between tsams fans who say their favorite is moon and those who say their favorite is sun is the same as the difference between most cat people and most dog people. like moon fans chill with sun but sun fans HAAAATE moon.

i hear you anon!💕. personally that hasn’t been my experience as a moon fan. a lot of my moots and artists i’ve interacted with that are mainly sun fans do have mixed views on moon but not as far as to hate him, some even ship carmoon just as much as me!! i do agree that moon can be a controversial character and his actions can warrant a lot of hate. even as a moon fan myself he finds away to pmo😭.

honestly, i think sun fans are the sweetest ppl ever. they’ve been the most welcoming to me in this fandom as new artist. 💗

HEY YALL!! SO YES I DID SEE THE LIVE.

i'm so excited abt everything revealed in today's stream! i knew in my heart carmoon would never be canon but it was still saddening to see them be debunked. after thinking it over, i was honestly conflicted on whether i should continue making art for them due to carme being in a canon relationship, as well as moons statement on stream. i genuinely enjoy this ship and am greatful for all the support of my art i've received, and bringing more love to midnightjester through it.

i will still continue to post more carmoon content but not as frequently, as i want to focus on other aspects of the show i like (which has always been my plan). i will always be a carmoon shipper and show my love for them

this breaks my heart and hearing him mention rigel especially, and the thanks to moon💔. he really doesn’t think he’s gonna make it out😭

but realistically the livestreams have confirmed that there are future carme episodes (we have only gotten ONE out of the four revealed.) and there is that goal for his dimension and sun plot line to be made, that has been reached. (i know we technically can have this plotline without carme but it would make no sense if he wasn’t there. SINCE IT IS ABOUT HIM. )

LISTEN I AM CRASHING OUT AND LOSING MY SHIT but i’m trying to stay positive cause bavis is doing it on PURPOSE BRO. i am only really scared of how this will play out. moon is going to kill himself over trying to save carme and i can only wonder what will happen in between before we can save carme from the brink of death/infection.
