I was thinking about your characters when I wrote that post and mentioned making this blog setting-nebulous, by the way! I’d love for our characters to get the chance to go on play dates together and have some banter (like Fenter disliking Frank bit we talked about briefly), they just need to overcome the different worlds-barrier.

Something I was thinking about with Bloodborne!Frank ‘n’ Bloodborne!Charlie. They have a fight while she’s all messed up from moon evil, he looses his goofy hat in the disagreement and she runs off… several days later he’s wandering around on his own, moping, and hears her voice. She’s there! She’s safe! And wouldn’t you know it she brought is hat back.

So I’m thinking about maybe just using this blog as a misc character blog or something instead of specifically an RP blog. I still don’t really have the rp-vibes in me and I’m just not on tumblr enough these days to keep up with a dashboard, but I like the idea of having a safe little nook to dump all my character related thoughts and doodles and stuff in and socialize a little with other character-making people while I’m at it. I will probably still RP, but in a way that’s less locked to a specific canon (Sorry, Fallout 4, you really kinda failed to capture my imagination the way the previous two games did...) and is more informal. Sometimes you just want characters to argue over whether a shirt is ugly or cool for 10 responses without it turnin’ into a plot, y’know... 

I dunno yet. Now that replies are back I’m more eager to tell strangers on the internet about what my imaginary people’s favorite hamburger toppings would be, but I still can’t commit anything beyond a passing amount of the time or energy to blogging, particularly when I’m committed to other large-scale projects, such as Wishbone, already.

But yeah, just wanted to say I’m not dead... just still trying to figure out the best way to proceed. I do very much miss Frank getting to play off of other characters and getting the chance to do nice things (Fanart Friday!) and draw stuff for people.

I always figured Modern AU Frank’s ideal fashion would be the cowboy hat/bolo tie/tucked in button down look, but that he’d never actually wear it. Then I realized... what’s stopping him? There’s nothing stopping him from buying a cowboy hat. They’re not THAT expensive.

I don’t think he’d spring for the rest of the outfit, though. Too much effort to put together. Maybe only for special occasions. Why bother with a stuffy, uncomfortable, perpetually wrinkly button down when you could just wear a shirt with an eagle on it from The Mountain for basically the same effect?

Cowboy AU Frank n Theo as babies… Frank’s probably around 2 and Theo’s around 6. He doesn’t want to hang out with this BABY who isn’t even old enough for breeching, SHEESH!

They end up getting along better as they get older, of course.
