I feel like people don’t understand how much I NEED a resurgence of 80s style horror movies made today. (We’re already sort of seeing it, like it’s happening, but I need more of it.)

Thanksgiving just literally proved to me that with today’s technology and effects, the style of 80s horror would be unstoppable.

Give me more shlocky slasher that actually has likable, believable characters! Give me my Dario Argento style art piece horror that’s all about vibes and colors! Give me crazy creature features with the WORST monster designs you’ve ever seen! Give me random supernatural stuff alla evil dead style shenanigans in the middle of butt-fuck-nowhere. Toe that line between horror and comedy in a way that’s actually fun! I want it! I NEED IT!
