Closeup and non-text version:
RIP Sam Neill
Where we're going, we won't need eyes to see.
I've been thinking of remaking this drawing (https://frankgoji.tumblr.com/post/677636028091285504/kaiju-but-theres-something-off-spacegodzilla-i) but I've been so busy that I haven't been making any art. I doodled this on my phone before falling asleep, after I heard about Sam Neill's passing. Hopefully one day I'll find the time to remake it properly.
OC I created for a Shadowrun campaign I played with some friends a few months back! The DM was nice enough to give us some free rein when creating characters, so I made mine a croc XD
Also a funny idea I had for the character:
Who are you? I love you too.
After 12 years, a full zodiac cycle, the triology has come to an end. I never would have imagined when ai started that a 3 month test run before I started college would progress into a full-color, full-page saga that completed alongside my professional licensure requirements; that I would discover my ability to start, follow through, and complete a long term project entirely through intrinsic motivation. Thank you everyone who has followed along at some point in time; making this comic and telling this story has taught me a lot about art, language, culture, and humanity. If somehow you are stumbling upon this page for the first time, feel free to start from the very beginning, or any of the other books. It's too late for me to make edits, especially for the physical copies, but I will always welcome comments and feedback (or just discussion about any of the nerdy topics I slipped in especially regarding philosophy of mind or linguistics)!
Sincerely,
— Alana
I interrupt the regular scheduled programing to dedicate a post to Angela Lin, a beloved friend, sister, and daughter. I know there is a GoFundMe on her behalf to support public media, but I actually urge you to directly support KQED here: https://www.kqed.org/support
