Guess who has power AND internet again!
It's me! I do!
How many languages do you have knowledge of? (Maybe not fluent, but you can at least understand/speak and/or read a little bit)

I'm still without regular access to internet and electric so the last thing I wrote was notes. These notes, in fact:
Yeah....
It's... a WIP?

Tagged by @westernlarch & @blueclanmarkings - thank you lovely people!! <3
I just finished a chapter so I don't have much to show for myself right now. Here it is anyway;
5 female characters that I love
Tagged by @toboe-roll, @dotflacfile, @blueclanmarkings & @capnmarvl - possibly others (I'm sat at a bus station and bumming internet off the coaches which have it :D - I can only get a few notifications at a time :D )
Shepard. Obviously.
So, possibly controversial because she's not really a character - it's a case of the actor was playing herself - but Zoe Bell in Deathproof was so awesome.
Cassandra Pentaghast
Chloe in the Uncharted games
Karlach
(Sneaking sarcastic Hawke in here too because I love her)
Not sure who's played because... bus... but tag yourself if you want to play on my behalf! <3
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Stevaine used to bring him gifts. Little trinkets she thought he would find interesting. Then it was waifs and strays, and now just desperate plans. Was his blood really going to fix anything?
Someone had brought him lunch while he wasn’t looking – that seemed to happen a lot these days. He should probably start being a bit more careful about eating food he found lying around – not all assassins ended up as his wife’s best friend, after all. Still… it did look very tasty…
He picked at a plate of bread and cheese while the steward showed one noble out and the next one in.
Thank you for coming to the Landsmeet. It was a pleasure to see you again. Are your family well? Truly – made on your land’s homefarm? What a delight. I shall have some with my supper.
The steward showed this one out and the next one in.
Scotland's on fire, and I feel things about it.
Aside from anything else, I'm currently 15 minutes away, so there's a real possibility we're going to get woken up in the middle of the night and evacuated.
I can't be articulate about it right now, but basically, fuck capitalism.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
We're all good - no movement in the night.
We're packing up to move onto the next campsite right now so hopefully that should be us out of reach. Thank you for the well-wishes <3
Love you all xx

one of the best feelings tbh
DA protagonist ask: 1, 2, and 5, if you'd be so very kind, my dear. ❤️❤️
What are their bad habits?
She flirts. All the time. With everyone. It's like fucking squid ink - it's a defense mechanism. In the years after she was sent away from court, she had a period of sluttery in revenge and the mechanisms of it stuck with her.
I wrote this the other day about it:
And he was trying to do what she asked him to – trying to respect that she didn’t want to be with him any more – but she made it so damn difficult because she flirted like she breathed; reflexively. He suddenly felt bad for ever having thought that Zevran had been a romantic rival – Stevaine probably thought that the dripping innuendos they traded were just ordinary conversation.
Do they have any prejudices?
She hates the Circle. They 'annoy her' - all their weird rules she doesn't get. Urgh. And she hates the other nobility because of the expectations living in that echelon of society places on her - she's so freakin' privileged though, that she can't even see that her whole life is only possible because of that echelon of society.
Which characters do they clash with the most?
She doesn't really clash with anyone except Nathaniel, but that's mutual and consensual.
That says, she's got her favourites. She's terrified of Morrigan, and doesn't get Oghren (during Origins - she gets him a lot better as she ages). She's wary of Wynne, as an older, potentially authoritative figure.
Anders drives her mad, but she likes him. And she's got a huge crush on Sigrun, but Awakenings is early in her marriage so she's still trying to be good.

What was their worst failure?
It's not really a failure, but she perceives her lack of children as one because... queen, lineage etc. Her actual worst failure is running away from things she doesn't like.
What is their biggest insecurity?
Tied to the above - she was insecure that she'd be replaced as queen because of the lack of an heir, so she left Ferelden first. Beyond that, probably that everyone else seems to have been given a guidebook for life that she didn't get - she just always feels like she's saying or doing the wrong thing in any situation.
The worst way their journey has changed them?
That one was answered here, but if I had to actually commit and speak about the journey-journey, then being allowed to lead everyone was probably bad for her - makes her too confident for her abilities. But that confidence is brittle, and she's quick to read criticism into comments on her decisions.
Thank you for the ask! <3 <3 <3
I do not regret getting a Polaroid at all! This is so much fun!!!
9, 10, and 19 for the DA asks!!
Something absolutely no one in their right mind would ask them to do?
Some kind of textile crafting, or anything that requires subtlety, or anything that needs etiquette, or any cooking beyond 'meat + fire'...
What was the worst decision they made?
Possibly making Alistair king - she did it out of spite and it was never something she wanted, and they both suffered for it.
Do they have any toxic personality traits?
She never apologises about the stuff that matters. Ever. And she's very much a noble when it suits her i.e. when she wants something.
Thank you for the ask Cap!! <3 <3 <3 Mwa!
3 and 16 please for Stevie please? (I was going to ask about the most fucked up resolution to a quest but it seems like Kieran exists in your canon so uh)
Yeah, Kieran absolutely exists... I'm not sure there's a more fucked up resolution in my own save games, but my husband's Origins save is.... wild.
Is there anything they're just absolutely terrible at?
Riding horses, speaking other languages, being diplomatic, talking about her feelings in an adult way,
What's the worst thing they've ever said?
I haven't written her saying anything especially awful, but now I want to write her having an argument with Alistair where she tells him she liked his brother better. Because she's a bitch when she's mad, and swings to hit. I might go write that now actually - that sound fun!
6, 14 and 30 for problematic DA OCs!! I miss you, I hope you’re having a wonderful time 💜
Their most objectionable opinion?
That Zev is exempt from all consequences of everything ever, because he's her bestie. But not in a cute way - in an 'I'm an entitled noble and what I say goes, peasants' way.
Is there anything they hate for seemingly no reason?
The Circle. Not because of Abbi, or Anders, or any other reasonable reason, but because they 'annoy her'. In reality, it's because it keeps to a set of rules she's not familiar with and she doesn't want to learn anything about it.
The worst way their journey has changed them?
She's bitter now, but it's more the aftermath that changed her than the journey - she saved the world, but everything in her own life is still a giant mess and how do you live around that? But also, how do you keep going when you did the impossible, and suddenly you don't even have laundry to contend with because you live in a castle and everyone does everything for you?
Thank you for indulging me with this!! Also, I miss you too! I'll post castle pictures when I have them! <3
