Occurring to me that part of what makes heterosexual ships fun to me is if there is some kind of third guy there who is just as close with them as they are with each other. Hyuna, Luka, and Hyunwoo. Percy, Annabeth, and Grover. Katniss, Peeta, and Haymitch. Nene, Hanako, and Kou. Bow, Glimmer, and Adora. Hiccup, Astrid, and Toothless (+ Honorary mention to any of the other guys). Katara, Aang, and Sokka. Atsushi, Lucy, and Akutagawa. Chiaki, Julian, and Julia. Dani, Nico, and Mark. Jayce, Mel, and Viktor. Nancy, Jonathan, and Steve. Gwen, Miles, and Peter. I can enjoy them fine alone, but it gets SOOO much better when there's a third guy. Platonic, familial, polyam, doesn't matter to me and I will play with it however I want and it will change biweekly. All that matters is that this guy is there and they are holding up a peace sign while their two best buds kiss in the background. Bonus points if the best buds don't consider them a third wheel but a genuine ally and friend that they need with them at all times. Don't separate them from their lover! Or Steve. Steve is staying too.

Thoughts on each portrait under the cut

Nami - she’s looking at Vivi, lol. I also tried to make her face like a cats? Yknow a little pointy but still round?

Robin - couldn’t decide between blue eyes and brown so I gave her centralised heterochromia!!! And I tried to give her an inquisitive face. Is that a thing? I think so.

Vivi - soft features and pretty hair. The prettiest of princess around. Her hair colour was a pain in the ass though.

Luffy - I struggled with his face until I had the epiphany that he needed to smile! It fell together easily after that. Except for his hair. Dear lord his hair pissed me off. I don’t know how to draw hats.

Sanji - I PUT A HEART HIGHLIGHT IN HIS EYEEESSSS. didn’t meant to make him so cute but I’m not mad about it lol. And his hair is more yellow than blonde. Cause of the. Vinsmoke thing.

Usopp - goal was to make him pretty and I think I succeeded. I loveee his eyelashes in canon. Oh and his nose? How does one do a Pinocchio nose in a front facing angle? Don’t ask me. I also didn’t give him his goggles. Sorry but not really cause those things are weird looking.

Chopper - yes he’s a little cursed but he’s still my son, so. I gave him more deer colouring instead of just solid brown… and a bandana. I don’t know why. He just seems like he’d wear a bandana. I don’t know how to draw hats part two.

Zoro - originally I was worried he looked too young and soft, but like. He’s nineteen. He IS young lol. And I choose to believe he’s shy. I didn’t know how to render his hair, so don’t look so close.
