a very important date: rosie & frank
Rosemond giggled and gave him a kiss on the cheek as she hopped off of his back. “Sorry I’m late, I had to feed Lucy.” Donning his hoodie, which was far too large on her, Rosie moved next to Frank and sidled up under his arm. “You’re warm,” she grinned. “So what did you have planned for us today? I do hope it involves butterbeer, because it’s a little more nippy out than I anticipated.” As It was, Rosie hated fall - she much preferred the warmer weather. Fall was only a reminder that winter was coming, which represented death and darkness in her mind. Yet this year, she found herself not dreading the depressing weather.
In short, Rose was truly the happiest she’d ever been at Hogwarts. The brief month that the two dated felt more like years; never before had she known someone who so completely understood her, and never before had she cared so much for one person, save for her mother and barn owl. She and Frank seemed to balance one another out seamlessly, and she already found herself wondering if she was in love with him. Her feelings for Frank were an entirely new experience for her - she hadn’t even felt this way about her ex, for Merlin’s sake. Looking up at her boyfriend, Rosie felt a rush of euphoria and rested her head on the crook of his shoulder.
“Is that where my hoodie went? I’ve been looking for it for ages.” Sighing at the thought of the countless hours spent in his suitcase, he smiled back down at her. Frank never could stay mad at her for very long. “If that’s what you want, then your wish is my command. I didn’t really have anything planned anyway. Just figured we could take advantage of the Hogsmeade trip.” Her nose was already turning pink and he leaned down to sneak a peck on it, then one on the forehead. “We should probably get you out of the cold, anyhow. How is it that you still look frozen even with your contraband clothing?”
