how do u think avery felt watching the original sfawtde video for the first time. like imagine you're him making the Weird Book video expecting maybe like 3 people to watch it and all of them say it's fake. and then. boom Millions of eyes on a video that just discovered there was another guy in your world who found The Horrors. and also for half the video it's refers to this guy with Your Name and you're sitting there going THAT IS NOTTTT ME?!?!?!?????? I mean you saw it yourself. his comment on sfawtde is literally "WTF??????" YEAH MAN. ID BE WTF-ing TOO

Okay not a request but I said before I love the idea of Cathulu, Hastur and Reader being siblings 😭

Imagine it's Reader's birthday and Cathulu is trying to plan Readers birthday and invites Avery and Derek just to spite Hastur (who is trying SO HARD to play nice just for reader's sake)

And Avery and Derek being so weirded out but also trying to play it casual for reader's sake

And then there's Reader bit oblivious to the tension between the 3 (and Cathulu in the background snickering and recording everything)

Not a request btw I just love the potential dynamics lol

Cthulhu doing that shit for the love of the game will never not be funny to me. He becomes aware that Hastur, Avery, and Derek don’t get along and-

1) Tries to get them to get along by making them hang out, especially to make Reader happy.

2) Finds it really funny that they have so much beef and invites reader’s boyfriends along to everything to make Hastur angry. (Especially if Hastur is being annoying)

I definitely see Cthulhu as like the chilled out older brother who gives good advice but will also snitch on you to mom if you’re being a little shit.

Hastur is most definitely the middle child also, he screams that kind of vibe in my head. (No shade towards middle siblings)

You get away with everything but also nothing because Cthulhu and Reader’s mom gossip on the phone. She knows you broke her vintage plate because Cthulhu swore he wouldn’t tell and then talked shit about you to mom.

I love funny sibling dynamics because like who’re these three weirdooooosssss lmao.

the steps went back and forth, frantic, it was as if the owner of them was pacing around the area with one hand gripping his hair and the other with his shirt.

"there's something wrong, derek! something must have happened and you're not telling me!"

"avery, please, nothing happened. i'm right here–"

"you're not real!"

the frantic steps stopped and the room went quiet. it always was and it always will be.

honestly i feel so bad for verity watching all of this and i get why mob did what he did but i feel like things could've gone so much different... (obv it wouldn't work for the sake of pacing but)

this led to me thinking about derek (when he's stuck in front of his pc) meeting verity really hard... derek thinking why not since he's stuck here anyways and starts talking to verity, not leaving him (mostly cus he couldn't) and ends up not only learning and understanding his feelings, but also trying to teach verity how to communicate with people and how to actually form relationships...

derek was different from any of his previous owners because with the infinite knowledge, he doesnt NEED verity for anything, and even if he needed... well its the King's realm so he actually couldn't help

unlike mob who pretended he's willing to come back, derek was genuinely entertained and glad there is something keeping him sane while he's moving closer and closer to death... GAHH the concept of verity finally understanding why he drove mob away and being able to form an actual relationship without the power imbalance is so good to me...
