“Yuki no Hitodama – Ghost Lights in the Snow” will tell the story of Akari, third son of a samurai family, and Kyōka, a mysterious musician. In an age ravaged by civil war, demons and vengeful spirits threaten to conquer the world of the living. Solitary and cynical, Akari leads a withdrawn existence, bearing the weight of a tragic past on his shoulders. With his loyal companion Yasha, a wild akita, he wanders around the country leading a life holding no meaning. Akari is ready to see life go on unchanged to the day of his death, until his path crosses with Kyōka’s, whom he meets by following a trail of ghost lights. The musician lives by offering his art to a rich family of the north, in a place where war seems to be just a faraway nightmare. But his music’s beauty hides a terrible secret. From their intertwined destines, a chance of salvation will arise for both the living and the dead. But what will that put at stake? Who’s behind the 久•恋 team?

KU•久 - KumiShire 

Self-taught since high school, Kumi perfectioned her drawing technique after graduating from the International School of Comics in Florence. Between various part time jobs, she started publishing her webcomic “Kitsune to Neko” (The Fox and the Cat) in February 2014, after her debut with the same story’s oneshot version, during the 24 hours comics, an online comics challenge which took place in January of the same year. She’ll write and draw some new stories for the publishing house “Aoi Manga” in the near future, after joining their team in April 2017. Meanwhile “Kistune to Neko” (soon coming in its English version as well) will go on as a self-published project. Born in Sardinia, she has been living in Florence for 7 years, sharing the house with a boyfriend, three cats – Takeru, Ryo, Hime – and Amaterasu the akita.

KOI•恋 – NiKoi Born in Cagliari, she attained a Master Degree in Japanese Language and Literature from “L’Orientale” University in Naples. She moves from a place to another and has recently started to learn French. She loves literature and videogames, and believes in the ever-expanding power of the fantasy genre. Wannabe writer, she’s currently studying Narratology and Creative Writing, after a four years long experience as screenwriter for Live RPGs. She keeps looking for new chances to improve and grow as a story teller, keeping her passion alive since middle school – now writing both in her native tongue Italian and in English.

Friends for a long time, Kumi and Nikoi decided to start the collaboration project Ku•Koi on foundations made of similar tastes and understanding. News on the different formats and chapters of the “Yukidama” project will come out in the next days.

↳ AU Crossover I originally drew this one for the time travel prompt, but it was more fitting for the Crossover one since it’s, well, a Doctor who based au! I had so much fun with this one, I love drawing constellations and galaxies, and I miss watching Docto who a lot!
