"Inspector Gadget" Live-Action Reboot Movie Moves Forward At Walt Disney Studios With Sean Anders As Director And Will Ferrell In Talks To Star.
Wowsers! a new generation will know about Go-Go-Gadget....
Disney and the makers behind Apple TV's "Spirited" ared getting ready to head back to Metro City. Insider Daniel Richtman has reported that the "Inspector Gadget" live-action reboot is moving forward at Walt Disney Studios after 6 years of being stuck in development hell.
"Inspector Gadget" will be directed by Sean Anders (Apple TV "Spirited", Paramount Pictures "Daddy's Home") as director, additional Richtman reported that Will Ferrell (Warner Bros Pictures "Elf", "Barbie") is in talks to star as the titular character.
"Inspector Gadget" originally entered development at Walt Disney Studios back in 2019 with SNL writters Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell set to pen the script. Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, who produced the billion dollar-grossing live-actionĀ AladdinĀ remake, where set to prodyceĀ via their Rideback banner unknow if all four will still be involved.
InspectorĀ GadgetĀ was an American-Canadian co-production produced for the syndicated market that was a stable around North America in the 1980s and 1990s. It featured a bionic Inspector Clouseau-type character who could command (OK, he couldnāt) an endless array of gizmos built into his body. His archenemy was Dr. Claw, leader of an organization named M.A.D. Also figuring in the proceedings was Penny, Gadgetās niece and the brains behind him who actually stopped Clawās plans. There was also Brain, Pennyās crafty dog, and Chief Quimby.
Disney only owns the film rights for the franchise while Wildbrain Studios owns the "Inspector Gadget" IP since 2015.

I Imagined his feathers poofing up as he gets called out for doing something out of character in the last one of those headhots. Tries not to give it away but can't hide the poofing feathers.

Daniel Chong Explains Adorable Easter Egg Of Iconic Pixar Short "For The Birds" In "Hoppers" As Tribute To Late Animator Ralph Eggleston.
Pixar Animation Studios films are always expected to have easter eggs in their films and it was found that "Hoppers" will have a cameo of the iconic birds from the short film "For The Birds".
Daniel Chong took his Twitter account that the easter egg is a tribute to the legacy of director Ralph Eggleston which sadly passed away in 2022. ššš¦«š¦š
YES big Easter Egg!! The birds were remodeled especially for the movie. An homage to the director, Ralph Eggleston, who was loved by many of us on the team, and passed during our production in 2022. He did some early development paintings for HOPPERS, even when he was sick. --- Daniel Chong
"For The Birds" won The Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 2001

The Sword in the Stone: Arthur's Magical Kingdom is a grand continuation of Disney's beloved film, "The Sword and the Stone." This epic journey follows young Arthur, now the rightful ruler of Camelot, as he embarks on a transformative journey guided by the whimsical and wise sorcerer, Merlin. When the powerful and malicious sorceress, Madam Mim, comes back from the great beyond, she brings not only a heart of revenge but new and powerful allies. In this tale, Arthur must grapple with the challenges of ruling a kingdom, while an evil spell threatens to rewrite history and destroy Camelot as we know it. Through Merlinās guidance, Arthur learns that magic cannot solve all of lifeās problems and is reminded of why he was chosen by the sword in the first place.
