Okay, so a lot of us have been in this fandom for a while and some might be new. If you're here, on this blog, reading this now, then I think it's safe to say that you see IT between Luke and Nic and are rooting for them to be together in REAL life and even our favorites themselves said they don't mind it and think it's sweet. 😉🥰
So with a little help from another friend and Lukola fan, here's a list of morsels/hints that have come from Luke and Nic. I mainly focused on what they've shared, but I did include an interesting one from Shonda.( she knows!) I think all these things are FAR more telling than anything from the side characters. It's Luke and Nic's story. They're the leads and the ones we need to listen to. 😀👍
So here's a list to catch up OR remind you of what they've told us so far..since August 2024:
MORSELS #1-#36
1. Sweet breakfast/brunch treat - Luke loves a sweet treat. 😉😋(this was the start of "Chaos Week" in August, just one day after Luke returned from Italy and went back home to Nic in the UK) 😏
2. Scrabble board with Guinness ( a favorite drink of Luke’s) in view
3. "Drink your Milk" shirt pic ( which very likely was Luke's that she was wearing)
4. Shared "Bless the Telephone " song in story on IG. Lyrics very much fit Luke- Another interesting fact about this day: Nic shared this song on "National Left-Hander's Day" in the UK. We all KNOW who her favorite leftie is....😏🥰
5. Shared "Juna" song in story on IG. A very sexy song. Also applies to Luke.
6. On July 24th, Shonda shares Lukola pic(borrowed from Nic's IG grid that Nic posted on July 16th)from last day of filming(it was her last day of filming, Luke showed up to the set anyway to support Nic on her last day..🥰🥹)using "You're my Best Friend " by Queen in IG story (Note - this song was written by a member of the band for his WIFE.)
7. And then we have the fact that Shonda wrote a story about friends to lovers or coworkers to lovers, and says was inspired by the Colin/Pen story of season 3. Or IMO inspired by watching Luke/Nic😉👀
8. Nic shared IG stories with songs - "Birds of a Feather "by Billie Eilish and "Talk Talk" one day after Emmys which contains lyrics about "getting it on " in a hotel room. Since we're very certain he went to Los Angeles wth her for the Emmys, they were, of course sharing a hotel room...😉😈 Oh, she also wore a "Sunday Funday Barbie" shirt in the video. Remember, Luke wants to be the "Ken" for her "Barbie".. I took it as a nod to what he said in that interview with Jimmy Fallon...(and we now have confirmation that they were both in NYC the same few days and she may have been at the Jimmy Fallon interview in person)😏🤭🥰
9. Trip to NY for TIMES 100 event - both posted on same day( him from airport lounge, her from the plane)
10. Matching IG activities- online at same time, liking posts very close together or nearly in the same time frame

Luke's hands visible in the background of pic at Nic's house as she gets ready by her stylists for Glamour awards(though by this point very sure they are living together) and you can see what looks like a wedding band on his left hand on the MARRIED finger and it should be noted that even if it's not a traditional wedding band, a signet ring(which we know he loves to wear) can also be worn as a wedding ring....Also, there's a small video clip of Nicola presenting on stage at the awards and you can definitely hear a recognizable voice in the background saying- "she looks amazing" "no pictures" " don't feature me"....🤔👀 LOTS of us in the fandom think that was Luke Newton's voice we are hearing in the clip and he was there at the awards being supportive to Nic. 12. By October 1st, Nic's very special Claddagh ring had also switched to her left hand and being worn in MARRIED position
13. Luke and Nic liking post of his "The Shape of Things" costar announcing her marriage to her costar from another project.
14. Nic liking a post about Tom/Zendaya in March of 2024 and one that mentioned Catherine O'Hara meeting her now husband on a movie set(Nic seems to be fan of reel to REAL love stories because she's in one of her own with her costar, Luke Newton..😉🥰)
15. On October 3rd, Luke shared the "It's October 3rd" Mean Girls meme but used Polin pics and posted Xx - which many think is a nod to him and Nic. Her petite self, next to him on his left, usually. 😉
16. Nic's TIME magazine interview and she brings up Luke(and it was her who mentioned him, she was not asked to, but just did it any way) and says IN THE INTERVIEW - "People want me to marry Luke" 🥰👀 That's interesting, Nic. Did you say that because you already did? ( I think they are. Marriage truther for a while now. I think they pulled a Ryan/Eva on us..)😉🤵🏻💍👰🏼♀️

18. Two Tatcha promos Nic did, where she flashed her Claddagh ring in the "in relationship" way, and the ‘demure TT trend that was happening in early August when all speculations on TT was she and Luke are back together, that one meant that she has seen the TT posts and she is in agreement! 😏🥰
19. Nic took a pic with the cast of the " Back to the Future " musical in the West End show in the UK. Very likely Luke went to that show with her and probably took the picture. Also, Luke is a big "Back to the Future " fan, so if he had no prior commitments that evening of the show, I think he definitely went to go see it too with Nic. 😀
20. They both recently "liked" a post about Guinness( one of Luke’s fav drinks)on IG at the same time and Luke doesn't even follow that account... 😏👀

22. Luke Newton downloaded and reposted this whole video of "Cutest Moments" with him and Nic on August 28th. Didn't just share it, but posted it to his IG in it's entirety..😏👀 Me thinks he was in his feels this day, as she had probably left to go film in Malta at this time. I do think a little bit later on, he decided to just join her in Malta himself...😉🥰
23. Luke's "This or That" in his People interview. Answers are definitely Polin coded, but IMO, also about Nic. And I, and many others believe she was there, at the interview with him...😏🥰👀

Which happens to be the day before Luke Newton's birthday. That timing feels intentional doesn't it? 27. Nicola posted a pic to her IG promoting a t-shirt for charity. Interesting tidbit - the same company that made the shirt she was wearing in the pic, also sells the Guinness (Ginis) shirt worn by a mystery man in one of her 2024 pics that she also posted to her IG. Though it remains a mystery( cuz i don't know if we can consider any tags on it accurate as long as IG keeps glitching) it could likely be Luke Newton in that photo wearing the shirt. Could be just coincidence, but maybe not...🤷♀️👀
28. Nicola shared some pics from the set of Doctor Who to her IG, including one of her proudly showing off the vintage camera that Luke gave to her for her birthday. I'm considering it a delicious Christmas morsel because she knows we know how much that camera means to her because of WHO it's from. She's talked about it before and I have included the screenshot when she has referred to it. Also included the screenshot of Luke LIKING her post with the camera. 🥰🥹
29. Luke LIKED and COMMENTED on Nic's IG congratulating her on her SAG awards nomination. He literally logged in long enough to post it and got out. Such a loving and supportive boyfriend/fiancé/husband for Nic. Just love to see it. 🥰🥹😍
30. Nic has changed her IG to where ONLY she can accept tags before they're posted and today she accepted one about her SAG nomination and included Luke’s comment that congratulated her. Because he's the EXCEPTION...😏🥰🥹😍
31. Nic shared a birthday thank you and pic in her stories - it's quite clear it was a romantic dinner for two at an Italian restaurant and not in a touristy spot. More secluded and less crowded. There's no doubt she was with Luke at this restaurant and they had a very lovely evening celebrating her birthday. 🥰🥹
32. Both Luke & Nic LIKED Jack Rooke's post on IG about his project, "Big Boys" which to me, shows that Luke has fit in with Nic's friends quite nicely. They also LIKED it within the same time frame. So social media patterns are matching again...😏🥰

While we can't officially confirm it, it's SPECULATED that it is Nic off to the side in Lucy Hale's gelato picture from Rome, while Luke was on location filming "White Mars" The blonde hair and the coat the mystery lady is wearing could definitely be a match for Nic. Also the fact that Luke LIKED the post and pretty quickly too...😏🥰👀
34. "Bridgerton" makeup artist posted this nod to Luke & Nic on October 16, 2024 using the song, " Lover" by Taylor Swift. She also included the "people want me to marry Luke " quote in the TIMES interview with Nic. So it's yet another example of people behind the scenes openly shipping and showing their love for these two. The behind the scenes crew KNOW. 🥰👀
35. Nicola in Paris for Fashion Week. She is wearing what appears to be a wedding ring on the finger that a WIFE would wear it. Also still wearing her beautiful Claddagh ring. In a short clip of her watching a magician do a card trick, you can hear a voice say- "thank you so much." And that voice sounds like it could be Luke Newton. 😏🥰👀
36. Luke was on a LIKING spree on IG and he LIKED a post by Nic with pics of her from the Dior show at Paris Fashion Week. He also LIKED a post from his " The Shape of Things" co-star from Paris Fashion Week. Seems to be hints that he was or still in Paris too? I'd like to think it's very possible...😏🥰👀

So I have not listened to the "Off the Menu" podcast with Nic,(wasn't really interested)BUT I did hear that she mentioned Luke's name: "Luke Newton, my co-star" on it. Notice how she quickly pulled out "co-star " when she didn't actually have to. Nic, you've been working with him as your co-star for 4 seasons now. 5 seasons if if we're really counting, but I'm not confident we will see Polin much in the new season. We KNOW who he is. Seriously, it's her need to overcompensate that makes us continue to speculate....😏🤭
