Welcome to Caelum. This is a city with opportunity and stagnation. We are ever moving and ever still. We are contradictions and continuity. Those who come to this city are never without reason and if you say you have none then that may be a reason in itself!
Be wary, new citizen, as outside laws have no place here. Forget what you know of physics, of life, and of death. Caelum is a city of impossibilities. You may have come for a normal life but the people here may not be as ordinary or unique as you. Was that insulting? I’m sorry! This is just to say that anything goes. Stories of shrine gods, mythical beings, mafia, magical creatures may not just be stories at all here. Oh, you say that unlawful people and groups like the mafia exist anywhere? Well, I suppose so.
All I wanted to tell you was to open your eyes, dear citizen.
Caelum is a city of peace and war. The surface is just a surface. Are you brave enough or unlucky enough to see what’s underneath?
