Hi. My name is Nazli, and I am not a photographer. But ever since I moved to New York and saw the many unique people and ways of expression, I knew I could not afford not getting closer to them and immortalize these instances. Not everything you will see in this blog may seem beautiful to you, but it's here because I think it has character and an aesthetic that I just cannot find in pretty perfect things. I think that's what makes it worth looking at.

Impossible to miss Kee Hua Chee with his all yellow, all "me" outfit in the streets of Paris' eccentric and popular neighborhood, le Marais (it is where I find most of my models!) When I apologized that I only had my iPhone with me and not my professional camera, he said not to worry: "I know I will look good anyways." And he was right. hi there! i find all of my models on the streets while i'm out simply walking, most of the time without the intention of finding them! the key is to carry a camera with me at all times, be eyes wide open, be quick to not miss somebody and not be shy about asking for a picture :)
