heated rivalry who?
Name: Spyce La'tai
Pronouns: he/him
Race: harvestborn
Class: Sinner rouge
Appearances: a bright orange Pumpkin with a slightly sinister face carved into the surface. He's often seen in a grey shirt with patchwork pants, grey scarf and a deep blue jacket. His body is made a dark brown wood. The back of his head has brown rot slowly forming.
Background: In life, Spyce was a wood elf with a charming smile. He'd fill his pocket with profit from each person he'd scam. During a time he had a wife who would help him with his cons but one day Spyce had a choice, Save her from jail or save his own skin. He walked away alone.
His Adventures brought him to a river boat but without his wife he wasn't as on the ball as he used to be. While on the Hungry Catfish he met a Remy Garou and after an in-depth conversation about why dragons are not real, the crafty elf played a game with an orc that happened to be friends with Remy, a game that Spice often didn't lose but in this case it ended with his head being completely destroyed by the Orc lord after he'd realised he had been cheated.
In Death, Spyce was a harvestborn and just as bad in life, flirting his way through the train and causing a stir for Philip Druskenval. He has formed a kinship with a sweet Threadborn Bellinor and stop at nothing to protect him even if he doesn't seem very efficient at it
@urfavrib
Murderbot: Perennial problem with lighting in modern TV being shit aside, I think it's getting better. All the stuff from the books is still very cool and interesting, and the combat's not terrible. But all the extra shit, like the SecUnit factory scene or the slapstick when installing the combat override, is so goddamn unfunny
Spyce: Finished. Thematically, I like that it was up to the three apprentices to save the day, because the mentors were dead or turncoat. As soon as Yuki showed back up after faking her death, that started to slip. I didn't expect Mei to be the traitor (leaned toward Fu at first, then Hatsume), but her being a triple agent just got a "this might as well happen" response from me. Tbh I expected Tendo to release the mind control drug into the bad guy shelter, and was surprised that drugging them was part of the triple cross instead. I'm very surprised they went with the ending they did. Why did the writers save Yuki just to mind-wipe her in the end. They could've had the happy ending end before she and Momo had to break up. And in the end, the spice never mattered to the plot
Buffy Ships I Like But They Get More and More Strange (once again please no spoilers past 6x10)
note that this includes canon pairings and also characters that I think would be cute together but were never together, I’ve only gotten to episode ten of season six so any future ships will be ignored, and ships I like now I may start to dislike or like less due to future events, I have not seen ATS so no ships from that, and it’s by comparative rarity, not by how much I like them. If they were ranked by favoritism, Jenny and Giles would be first <3
Willow and Tara (like it less after Willow manipulated Tara and just became a general megalomaniac, but I liked it in seasons four and five and can appreciate that it was one of the first long term lesbian relationships on TV.)
Xander and Anya (I am worried please just talk to each other about your issues and fears of getting married. You had an entire duet about it. You know from that that you both love eachother but are afraid. Just talk please. Why can no one in this show fucking communicate.)
Jenny and Giles (</3)
Spike and Drusilla (Honestly don’t know whether it’s more or less well liked of a pairing that Jenny and Giles so I just put them after them. Dealers choice or something.)
Buffy and Cordelia (were never actually together and both presumably straight but I think the idea is cute <3)
Spike and Joyce (Spyce? Not major into this I just had the idea a couple days ago and was like “lol that would be cute.” Joyce and Spike’s interactions in Lover’s Walk were cute and Joyce should get to have a relationship with someone who isn’t a murderous robot.)
best boy!!
Goe!!
Idk... I think Mei is a double agent at this point. It looks like she helped the apprentices escape, she could’ve easily beaten the shit outta Fu and decided not to, on top of lying about blowing her away. Lest we forget, trying to sweeten up Tendou to get her to talk about Project Gekkako. This show is full of double meanings, subtleties and red herrings so idk what to think anymore.
