This promises to be another full year, with 4 titles releasing 3 months apart. I’m excited to introduce a new GLASS AND STEELE related series in March: THE UNCENSORED MEMOIRS OF A BOOK HUNTER. You can read an excerpt of Book 1, LAWS OF WITCHCRAFT, on my website now and pre-order the ebook, hardcover, and paperback. Some stores already have the audiobook available for pre-order, with Audible, Hoopla, and other library platforms to follow on release day on March 3. Marian Hussey is narrating once again.
➡ Set just after the end of the GLASS AND STEELE series, Professor Gavin Nash and his travelling companion, Oscar Barratt, head to Edinburgh in search of a rare book, only to become entangled in a kidnapping investigation. India, Matt, and Willie also appear, each facing their own challenges (mostly Willie’s).
➡ June brings the 12th Cleopatra Fox Mystery, MURDER AND THE MISSING TREASURE. There are pirates! Hidden treasure! Scandals! Despite persistent rumours, this is not the final book in the series. I have no plans to end it, and if that ever changes, I’ll announce it clearly on social media and in my newsletter.
➡ In September, Book 2 of THE UNCENSORED MEMOIRS OF A BOOK HUNTER, BLOODLINES AND BIRTHRIGHT, takes the professor and Oscar to Italy. It’s written and edited, with cover design and narration scheduled.
➡ December sees Cleo and Harry investigating a poisoning in MURDER UNDER THE MISTLETOE. The first draft is complete, and the team is booked.
➡ With my summer break over, I’m now back to writing, starting with Book 3 of THE UNCENSORED MEMOIRS OF A BOOK HUNTER, set in France and centred on the “magic” of film. I’ll also be releasing more translations in German and French, and adding Italian.
