My fist idea was to create one painting over the entirety of the term. This would allow me to spend more time on one single painting over the course of days rather then create one in one sitting, thus making six paintings in one week. But, when I started working on this project, I noticed that I'm horrible at waiting to finish a painting. I just want to keep going, and not waste the paint I just laid out. So, instead of making one painting over the course of the term, I will work on a painting until it is done and start on the next one. I don't know how many there will be by the end but there will be enough. Also, I will not use brushes. I'm going to practice using only palette knifes to create pieces, which will exclusively be images of nature. I hope this helps me develop the skill to take my time instead of rushing through a piece and not only that but as well as make my palette knife skills increase. I also will sketch and plan a painting before I make it because I normally don't do that, and when I research artists they advise to plan. This, in turn, will make me a better painter, at least I hope so. If not, I gained the skill to be patient when it comes to art.
