A few moments afterwards â her head having cooled down, her fists unclenched â, Fredâs reaction made her laugh. SNORT, almost. She could become easily angry, but obtaining responses like this would succeed at bringing her back to normal. The blondâs hurried apologizing sputter brought a wide grin to her face, and just before walking to the other side of the car and get in the co-pilot seat, she playfully punched Fredâs shoulder and aimed her smiled at him. There was a slight probability the punch mightâve been stronger than she had expected, but the blonde paid it no mind at all. âHey, relax, kid! While itâd be fun making you suffer, just keep things like that to yourself and we shall be fine⌠or something like that.â
Ruffnut nodded, but added, before stepping inside:Â âFood. What was the placeâs name, again?â
The punch to his arm made him actually release a small, unintentional âow!â This girl was tough -- possibly even tougher than Go-Go was. She hit harder, anyway. However, despite the fact that he had in all likelihood just received a decently sized bruise, Fred couldnât help but smile as he rubbed his shoulder. âItâd be easier to relax if I wasnât in constant fear of being a human punching bag,â he joked, settling inside the driverâs seat and inserting the keys into the ignition, âyour power level is a little higher than mine, so take it down a few notches next time and spare me the battle scar, âkay?âÂ
Fred absent-mindedly handed the girl a case filled with CDs before he began driving, asking her without words to make a choice on the music. âYou know,â he said, turning his attention to the road as they made their way down it, âIâm not sure, actually. My friends and I used to eat there all the time, and I never really checked. Itâs good, though -- thatâs what matters.â
