When I was 8/9 years old. Our neighbour was always in wellies, no matter what the weather was, summer and winter. That's when my interest in men in rubber boots started. There was also a man who had his rabbit hutch behind our yard. He wore exactly the same rubber boots that I, years before, found in the barn and put on to play with. Of course they were too big for me and I had trouble walking in them. When I saw the man in the same rubber boots, I watched him to see if he also had trouble walking. Since then, I have become more and more interested in oversized rubber boots. Later, heavy rubber became part of the equipment.

i lived with my uncle who made me wear rubber knee boots all the time when i was in elementary school. Then he made me wear rubber hip boots when i got in highschool. My uncle kept me in coveralls and rubber hip boots.

Dang. My intro to rubber boots was far more white trash. I went from "oh, yeah, those look interesting" to "Tender! Grab some of them rubber boots! Ya gonna be standing in the muck all day."
