Sink or Swim
“And I will build my life on the mystery
Of where You call me, and I will go
Into the unknown” - MOSAIC MSC:Mystery
The funny thing about God is He created us so He should know how stubborn we can be, right? Yet He sent Moses to deliver His people and Moses had a stuttering problem. He sent Jonah to a land where they had zero belief in God, and pretty much where Jonah could die at the mention of His name. Last example here, Jesus asked Peter to walk towards Him....on water. Seriously?
Every time, a test of faith. He never fails...literally. However, here’s a word of encouragement. God will never call us to something that we can’t get through. Moses freed the Israelites, Jonah spoke his truth in the name of God and survived, and Peter walked on water (even if it was brief).
See, the thing is that we’re called to live in the impossible. Our natural eye sees what we DON’T have and we quickly disqualify ourselves. Then there’s God, who’s material of choice is the invisible found in the impossible. Insane....but He sends us these trials and tribulations to equip us for the “impossible”.
My heartache and mistakes...all part of the process which equipped me to be who I am today. A strong woman who knows her worth first and foremost. I don’t let past failures identify me. There was a time when I felt like I was sinking in shame and guilt. Keyword: FELT. You let your feelings rule you, my darling you’re in for the ride of your life on an emotional roller coaster 🎢
I just want to tell you that you don’t have to continue to “sink”. Catch your second wind, keep swimming and watch how extraordinary things will happen. Remember how far you’ve come! Do the impossible, see the invisible. You’ve got this ❤️
