Keeping a promise he made to the transgender community, Republican Governor Chris Sununu has signed comprehensive nondiscrimination protections for transgender Granite Staters into law. Freedom New Hampshire, the campaign to secure these protections, has worked for nearly 3 years to get to this day — we are proud to have been a founding and leading member!

We have Answer Times planned with celebrities, artist highlights with incredible members of the Tumblr community, and we’re partnering with our friends over at Huffington Post (@huffpost) to signal boost their celebration with prominent members of the community.

Wanna join in on the conversation? We hope so. This means nothing without you. You deserve to be heard every day of the year—let this historic month be a time to turn your pride up several damned notches. Share your story with your followers. Let ‘em know how you honor yourself. Is it with art? Poetry? Selfies showing off that beautiful face? Writing slash fic? Hey, it’s all valid.
