It's okay if you ship it, to each their own after all.
But I personally really really really really dislike it. And therefor it won't ever be taken seriously on this blog or by my muse.
Now I have no difficulties imagining Isolde coming on to Jowan. That's..pretty easy to imagine if you're willing to look at it from a number of different angles. Her relationship with the Arl may be lacking in some parts for all we known. There's also this thing where Jowan is this taboo? A forbidden fruit kinda thing.
She's married, and he's a younger man who works for her, who's also a mage. Him being a mage alone makes it something to get kick out of?
Jowan tho, I can't imagine he's all that tuned in to people flirting with him. More like, he's oblivious and it goes straight over his head. Depending on his feelings about that person I suppose. But I digress.
Depending on how strong Isolde came on to him, he may not have seen her advances. Or he'd likely just be flustered and uncomfortable. Flattered too, probably. But mostly it's just a little weird.
Add to that that he's emotionally unstable at that point. He just escaped from the tower, lost Lily as well as his best friend. He knows he'll be hunted and killed on sight for the simple fact that he's a blood mage. Loghain had him captured and set him up to work for him.
Surely there must have been some stress he had to deal with when arriving at Redcliffe as well. There's just so much that weighs on him that I doubt he'd even want a relationship.
Besides, she's married. I don't think Jowan's the kind of guy to ignore such a thing.
BUT
These are my views on it and a explanation only to tell how I see it.
Not meant to change anyone's mind, just throwing it out there.
