It’s perfectly acceptable to hate the people who ‘raised’ you.

Don’t let ignorant people guilt trip you by saying such things like;

“Your parents do their best for you. Don’t be ungrateful.”

“If you were my kid, I’d have kicked you out for being such a brat.”

And so and so forth.

If you feel like you were not raised in a happy home with people that love you, then you are allowed to not want anything to do with them as soon as you get out.

You deserve to be worshipped, loved and supported, not treated like absolute trash and ranked below that of the family pet. 

It’s NOT a bad thing to feel like you deserve better.

It’s OKAY to walk away and never look back.

It’s OKAY and you shouldn’t feel guilty about it!

You do what you need to do to be happy, even if that means leaving ‘family’ behind.
